Pony war. I...didn't anticipate this. I've HEARD of this mod, but never...thought I'd see it.

I'm really happy you decided to play this mod! While I do watch all your hoi4 content, this is the first series I've bothered commenting on because of how excited I was. If you should return to this mod in the future, some nations I would recommend are: Lunar Empire: Equestria civil war faction. When you do the bat pony reforms decisions, make sure things go poorly to summon evil Martin Luther King Jr (or John Brown if he was as powerful as a greek god) Very interesting gameplay and decisions as you progress through the game. Changling Lands: (specifically the historical/supremacy tree, all other paths are currently very underdeveloped) Also fun gameplay, with a lot of focus on post war content. You can even play as a resistance after you've already won, fighting the empire you created, but it is VERY hard to accomplish. (About the same level of difficulty as winning the Chinese Civil War as the Nationalists in the Iron Curtin mod) The Cothoginian Republic: Probably the single best nation ever created for Hoi4 EVER! The number of paths to take/find is easily in the double digits. Just uh, if you want to go down some more unique paths... I hope you like civil wars... Amd finally, the Griffinian Republic, as you've mentioned. A lot more variety makes it much better then it's empire counterpart, in my opinion. Welp, whatever you decide, I'll be excited to watch, and I'll probably go back to my usual silence and stop being annoying with these wall of text comments I've made.

nice, what next?, OLB Washington b, or EAW changelings?, or warhammer unification war, that will be fun (pls not as the Empire, thats boring everone is plaing that)

I suggest doing a Purist Campaign or maybe Nevada At Home Campaign for hoi4 if you want. (just a suggestion)

Not sure if I missed it, but can you play single player like in Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam or is it multiplayer only?

As I expected, the Changling War was won quite easily. Under normal circumstances, the war is supposed to mirror the eastern front of ww2, with Changlings making a huge push at the beginning, sometimes as far as Canterlot, before finally running out of supplies and being pushed back. But the combination of both the changlings starting late (usually they declare war in 1010) and you starting your war prep early meant they never really stood a chance. Also, seeing a harmonic Equestria annex the Changling Lands is kinda cursed. Usually, you are supposed to puppet them and give them the post ww1 germany treatment. As for the what path you should take? Probably mantain statis quo. It doesn't really make sense for the broader population to be disatified with the monarchy considering the war was ended relatively quick, and you never choose the more extreme wartime messures like press censorship.

Go with the monarchy route for reasons.

The solar empire (fascist 40k equestria) is a fun path if you ever want to give daybreaker a try

I've played this mod before, and I am actually blown away by how good it was. I had a lot of fun. I played a couple games, but the only one I really remember was the medieval one. Overall, my expectations were completely subverted and I had a good time!

It's a good thing you've decided to eliminate Stalliongrad early on. While there may have been a possibility they decide to assist during your upcoming war with the Changlings (as indicated by the focus tree) the more likely option the ai usually goes with is either stay neutral or even worse, backstab you in the war when you are at your weakest. Honestly, 90% of the time, the Urgent War Committee focus isn't able to be taken until you are put into a defensive war. The fact you've already started war time prepeperations AND have taken down Stalliongrand means you're probably going to have a very easy time winning the battles ahead.

hello, really try magic weapons line, they are pretty gut, train more SF units pegasai are better at assault, put your new support companies in deck, bdw it looks like you should consider preemptive strike at changelings

I'm a bit late, but thanks for playing this mod! I'm a big fan of it. There seems to be a huge lack of English-language playthroughs of it lately, and it's always great to watch new players try it! Cheers!

pls do next lets play as changelings, should place some forts on changlings borders, they are coming, well olenia get them gut fight and buyed you time, research pony magic and harmony magic line gives great support company

Could have won the last combat. Missplayed not charging the dragon and using the defence ability while not in combat while fury on the rangers might have ended with them on top. Also do not place your artillery on the same line like your melee warriors, place it in the rear but in a way that they still have a good line of sight. Makes it charging them much harder. Otherwise greatly done.

Finally playing the best mod I see. Oh, and in case you'd like to do future lets plays of this mod: Most of the Equus continent (the one Equestria is on) has outdated focuses but are still pretty good, with the exception of the Changeling Lands and Lunar Empire (a Equestria civil war path) which do have very nice up to date focuses. Griffoinia (the continent to the northeast) has pretty consistently fleshed out focuses among its nations (except the dread league, avoid that nation) And Zebreca, the southmost continent, only has content for its north most nations and the Realm of Kiria. (But they are really, REALLY good!) Well, whatever you play in the future, I will continue to watch!

Oh ya the memories are coming back to me when I played this mod years ago It’s really fun and for a suggestion I’d like to see you play as the lunar empire if that’s what it was called with the nightmare pony That was a lot of fun and the commiponys were fun as well

Glad to see a new face check out our mod! Hope you have fun! Two things I'd like to point out: Many races have their unique type of special forces. For ponies, Pegasi divisions can become much stronger and faster versions of regular paratroopers. If you're interested, we also have a bunch of music available to listen to! There's two radio stations - the EaW Original Soundtrack (original songs made specifically for this mod) and the EaW Classic Radio Station (older fandom songs from TH-cam)

Build Anti-Tank divisions the Changelings use a lot of medium and light tanks. Also is is usually impossible to hold the border and I have always had to retreat to the fall back line and Tall Tale river defensive line.

pls research and use magical inf. equestria has resources to do it efectivly + nobody really use them, pegasi makes great rapid assault divisions and paratrupers

I conquered Indonesia and india easy by using 24 paratrooper battalion easily encircle them even though some battalion death and need to be trained but worth it the support i using with recon armour,radio,logistic, and engineer also with battlefield support for cas on it
