Got my FMIC piping welded! This is shaping up to be a great build! Although the new intercooler lowers the intake temps, there is noticeable lag now but in higher RPMs a difference in power is seen. Due to the design of the stock turbo, peak boost lasts less than 1K RPM before it drops. Overall, adding a slightly more boost is now possible to help the lag. I'll raise it to 19psi to see a differ...

I was told about these pads so I decided to try them out since I was due for new pads anyway. Did the Fronts last week, now I have Akebono Yellows front and rear. Love them!

Did the bolt you broke come apart from the top and from the bottom? I am wondering because I broke the head of it without freeing the bottom. Will I be able to access it from above? Im having trouble removing the last bolt on side of the heat shield. Im worried that I won't be able able to free the other bolt that I did not break. Seeing what my options are
From what I remember, the bolt for the heat shield broke. I let it be honestly lol

Nice car! Where did you relocate the map sensor that was in the stock top mount intercooler? Could you make a video with details on how to front mount the intercooler? Want to do this on my rdx.
Thanks. I have the Map sensor located behind the BOV. It's in a previous video.
You should jump on a RBC manifold with the j37 throttle body with a k24 valve cover.

I feel lag from 2.5k - 3.5k RPM due to air having to travel more. After that, powerband is pretty decent til about 6.5k. I'm gonna turn up the boost to 19psi(for testing purposes)

I disconnected the stock line to vent to atmosphere once and did like 3 pulls and lost a quarter tank. It made mine run super rich. But it felt a little quicker and sounded great.
Right. And that's why I rather run it recirc to avoid that lol...the gas mileage is bad already 🤣🤣🤣

Check the turbo manifold for coolant leaks, check for oil leaks, check for the P2263 code, which is common on these cars

Hey Jay, I've been following your vidz for couple years. I currently own 3 1 GEN RDX 'S , one that I'm focusing on for upgrades. I have a question? The stock MAP sensor, are they 2.8bar? Cause for some reason I'm capped at 12-13psi. Hondata flashpro 3inch CAI DW300 fuel pump 2nd cat and res removed.
Not sure if I'm being honest. I want to say you're bout right tho. I'm on stock MAP sensor on 17.5psi no problem tho.

Need some help getting a working MAP fuel low & high table. I just have, MAP to determine WOT "checked" reading Lamba WOT tables.

Alex here.. good to see the coolant issue is coming along.. im in the process of changing out my turbo to the blouche one.. my wastegate is done i think.. and i had the upgraded turbo sitting there so putting it on tomorrow.. im debating if i should change the manifold gasket aswell since i have it and everything is coming off.. really don't want to deal with old bolts though
I would change the gasket while you're there already

@@jmizzle24 nice looking rdx. I got one a while ago as a daily. I had a Turbo H22a eg that I recently sold. Aucra is fun but not fun enough. I have a short ram and flashpro so far. Cat delete front mount injectors and pump are on the list.
