a nice 1.7 miles out and back. can get muddy. the trailhead is called Horseshoe Falls. Ceasar Creek is very big area. Camping, boating.

Tank cleaning preventative maintenance.

full timing in Grand Design Reflection 337rls since 2018. We had all tanks professionally cleaned. Using special power washer and attachments. All sensors working again. we had no issues. Our tanks actually were cleaner then we thought. we felt we cleaned well. So a shout out to Jim and Vicki.

Amy harm in mixing in a regular piece of chopped wood towards the end to keep the fire going if you didn’t want to open another bag of pellets?

We just got back , we always get H1 cool breeze & private . Swan bay is our favorite this is second place .
I've seen others post that it is not safe to burn fuel pellets. As they burn off chemicals and you for d breathe them in and you can't cook food/roast marshmellows due to chemicals... please confirm
I would not cook over fuel pellets. As far as smell, it isn't noticeable and goes pretty much straight up. I just enjoy the way they burn. You can buy pellets for cooking over. They come in smaller bags and cost twice as much. Maybe ask how they are made vs fuel?
@walleyewiz1308 As with any fire pit, you're to burn in a well ventilated environment. You'll be fine. Do what you feel comfortable with.

I get about an hour to an hour 15 with one bundle of kiln dried fire wood at about $6-$8 a bundle. Thanks for the video. Pellets as an option is nice to have.

Nice video. Debating between this or a pellet patio heater. This seems much less efficient than the patio heater, but the fire isn’t behind glass.
If looking for heat the solo stove has most heat rising. But i love the dancing secondary burn.
I don't add that much all at once. I start with about 1/3 of a bag and then keep adding 1/3 bag...lasts about 2 1/2 hours. $6.60 for a 40 lb bag. Much cheaper than firewood at campgrounds where a small bundle is $5 that lasts an hour. Plus less messy than firewood.
Curious on when and how you add the second 1/3 of a bag. If i add to much it smokes like crazy....

The Smoke it gives off when it does that is highly flammable
Don't wait until the fire subsides a bit. Add gradually over time. In my experience over time is key.
Given he got 1 hr 45 mins with 30lbs all at once, his test compared to your output proves that over time is not key. It only gained you 4 extra mins per lb. He has saved a lot of people the hassle, and risk of adding pellets during the burn
Also wanted to mention the park has a church service Sundays at 9 am

I use about 2lbs with a combination of wood. Makes a great low smoke fire. Pellets butn to hot and fast for me just to burn pellets

Where did you get the pellets?
Tractor supply. If in northern states you can go to a stove place, Home Depot or Lowes. Usually around $7.00 per 40lb bag. Don't get the grilling hardwood. They are $12 per 20lb bag. These are just heating/fuel.

Glad it helped. Sometimes we will throw wood in towards the end of the pellet burn to stay out a little longer. Pellets are still my favorite for how they burn.

Elmira! My family has had at least one member living in Elmira since before the civil war. That is about to end, but I will always love the place.
It was a neat area for sure.a friends wife also from the area. They showed us around. Got dinner one night at Picnic Pizza.
We were just there in August. Great facility and folks with some really nice gliders as well. Must visit if you have any interest in soaring. Thanks for posting this.

What Solo model do you have?

Manufacture guide lines don’t recommend the use of wood pellets on the Solo Stove. There most be a reason why is not recommended. Go ahead and damage your Solo Stove, throw your investment down the toilet…not too smart of you, it make you wonder why that fire pit look so terrible and miss treated.

He said he put a screen in the bottom I believe.
Used a piece of stainless steel and cut to fit. It has small holes. Will have to do a followup.
I just purchased the Ranger, can't wait to use it. Thanks for sharing. We have a pellet stove and this will be great. We hope to be at the Urbanna Oyster Festival camping in Nov. Enjoy!
If this was an efficient burn, there would be nothing but white ash after the burn and precious little of that. Something is wrong.
I agree. I personally think there was not enough oxygen in the stove. I think that if there was something to make an air gap in the middle of the pit (specifically only a ring/doughnut of pellets) there would be enough air for a more complete burn.
A lot of the ones designed for pellets have a cone in the middle or ridges to keep and air pocket. Could probably uses a small metal bucket in the middle drilled with plenty of holes small enough for the pellets not to fall through.

Fellow Pa'er here!! My wife's originally from Allentown Just bought a 2015 26" with track's cubby. How are you enjoying yours after a few years?
Sold it and head south in the winter. Hope i never need it down there😂. It was so fast...I one handed it also. Loved it.
I have a year old Cub Cadet 2X 26, and just like yours demonstrated .. it's the best money I've ever spent ... ever.
How does yours do in 3-4" of wet snow. Does it throw pretty good in those conditions?

So, 3 years later, how is the Cub?
I have the same one it breaks shear pins alot. It has 4 shear pins instead of 2 like a regular snow blower. My pull start rope ripped off, the shoot joystick controller is hard to move sometimes, I think I got mine in 2015 or 2016 I never had to do any to it, always starts right up even on last years gas. It does sound like it needs a carb cleaning tho it will rev high and then low probably from leaving old gas in it over the summer.
Never broke a pin for the times i used it. I had no joystick, it had controls on each handle

Look at how fast the 3 stage ran thru the snow, every bit as fast as the 28inch Honda.
The cub 3x is a beast. I love ours. It blazes right through, even the deep heavy stuff in less than half the time of a 2 stage thrower.
Have you had any issues with it? I'm thinking about getting one over the Toro 928.

It‘s definitely a machine for deep snow, that‘s where is shines the most.
It is still working. For someone else now. Went full time rving and head south for the winter. Snow is a 4 letter word😂 I would definitely buy one again.
In the Lehigh Valley about 5 miles north of the Lehigh Valley Airport. You should see the picture at the end of my driveway.....closer to 35" at end. Not sure how to just post a pic
