Does this work for kings that are starting to come in the rivers?

Yes, use Chartreuse color variations of hoochies or Marabous and personally I just buy Cabelas/Bass Pro brand Bass tube jigheads. Super cheap and they're 2X thick wire. Very durable.

Do you think this would work for Atlantic’s and sea trout?

Im 5 years late, but Twitching jigs will work on pretty much every species of piscivorous gamefish in the world given the right conditions. I use em for every species of Pacific Salmon, Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, and I've even caught Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed and Bluegill sunfish as incidental bycatch on em.

What type of rod and pound test are you using? Are you using leader or tying direct to main line?

Great video. I'm new to twitching and have had varied success - but I really enjoy it. First day trying the technique I landed a large Spring (Chinook) and a couple beautiful wild coho. Same spot same lure the next day - not a sniff (pool still full of salmon). Yesterday was out again and landed a couple massive fresh Chum, but was also having issues snagging fish - even with the lightest twitches. Any suggestions how to minimize that (other than drifted under a float - which also worked nicely in the slower water)?

can i ask you, where were you fishing? if its private can you email me at tommygunamnrexgmail.com. I'm still a beginner and haven't caught a salmon yet. Thank you so much and have a good Christmas

Hey Rex, I do most of my Salmon fishing around Vancouver BC. We have some awesome places very close to the city - with my personal favourite areas being Squamish, Chilliwack, Ambleside and the Capilano. If you are a beginner and really want to catch salmon - I'd suggest getting prepared for the upcoming Pink Salmon fishery this fall. They come every odd year and are a complete blast to fish for - albeit can be a bit of a crowded fishery (get to the river early for some solitude). Stock up on some Pink Gibbs Crocs now while they are on the shelves (and some Buzz Bombs if you are beach casting or find deeper river water). I've never twitched jigs for pinks in rivers and highly doubt I would as they come in very large schools and accidental snags would likely be off the charts.
