Looks like that has been going on for Hundreds of Years. That is Known as Landslide due to Erosion with Steep Slopes and Possibly, Fault Zone Influence Trigger. I can't believe you stood there to film it. I would have been gone, that Dirt can turn to Liquid in a Flash and you can't outrun it.
