As a Scotsman, living in Cornwall, I'm very used to hearing the word "Emmet" however I believe I would now be considered a "blow-in" which I'm ok with lol. The footage shown has been taken in Mid August 2024, Boardmasters Festival and the following week. Cornwall really does multiply exponentially over the summer months, so much so that the infrastructure really does begin to creak!

The only 8 sail windmill in almost working order. Heckington Windmill in Lincolnshire has a visitor centre, Cafe and Brewery on site. Lovely little site.

a quick visit to Lydford saw us at the devil's cauldron and whitelady waterfall

Walking around Lydford in Devon saw us visit the Devil's Cauldron and Whitelady Waterfall, what a fantastic walk albeit a bit of a challenge in places, especially getting to the viewpoint at Devil's Cauldron. Well worth being scared for a few minutes though.

Henrhyd Waterfall in South Wales is the highest in the area. free parking but quite a steep climb down and round to the viewing area. make sure to have decent footage especially after it has been raining. #henrhydwaterfall #southwales #Waterfall #djidrone

I had Friday off, needed the day to tidyup before Suzie comes home tomorrow lol.
Love it as an Emmet myself I first called one( F**king Emmet ) some 20 years as i going down the steps to whipisderry from a young cornish surfer itching to get to the surf. Did make me chuckle. But remember one year I did get mistaken for a local which I very pleased about. Can't see how I have a strongish Bristolian accent. I class myself as a honorary cornish man lol as I been coming down to porth since 1997 and also now once a week for work we'll the whole of the duchy. Love the videos keep them coming

I'm doing a few bit's and pieces around the festival without actually going. Tonight has been pretty foggy from where I live, that's been an interesting time lapse that I'm in the process of creating.

Oh got to love a dozy emit that thinks roads are for walking in. The amount of abuse I’ve had thrown at me for driving through town, they think they have priority 😂
That’s a great video. I used to live in Newquay but had to move as couldn’t afford to stay and I miss it. See some of the old shops are still there and tourists still stupid and walking in the road. If u see Barry Hewitt tell him I want me four grand back.

All them buses and people probably caused the sink hole to open up 😆
@@garyharrad4876 being fair, it's probably a lot longer issue than the extra buses.
get rid of the carvery, super burgers is the sign they need , more buses there than central london
@pastypiratepaul the buses are taking the festival goers to and from the site. Funny thing is, they are all under 25 and are more than fit enough to walk the distance. It would make a huge difference to all the little businesses along the way if they were forced to do the little hike but the bleddy organisers want them all on busses so they can get even more cash out of them

Thanks Neil yes indeed, Altered Images with Clare Grogan. I tried to intermingle some of the original video footage from them but immediately I posted it, I got a TH-cam strike as I'm nor supposed to include other copyright clips in . I don't have a problem with that.
