My best V60 Origami Recipe
I purchased my V60 Origami around 2 years ago. I have tried many recipes over the years and there are only a few that I enjoyed the outcome.
This video is a combination of the steps I learned from different recipes. it's very simple and very forgiving as some other recipes require multiple pours.

Oranges in your coffee!
มุมมอง 13วันที่ผ่านมา
This is a new coffee I wanted to share, Orange Drops by Good Cup Coffee Co, has a very visible orange zest aftertaste. Personally I am not a fan of oranges. But the after taste you get from these beans after you brew them is very subtle. It's there but it doesn't dominate the other flavor notes. #coffee #coffeebreak #tryoutcoffee #coffeewdluis

I had reservations about this coffee as I never liked the flavor of peach. Yes, peach was nice, but it wasn't my favorite either. However, the flavor notes of Peach and Mango were surprisingly good. It didn't taste like a fruit salad of course but it gave this delightful mix of sweetness and bitterness. In a previous coffee bean Try Out Video I tasted, it was overwhelmingly sweet and fruit. • @CoffeewdLuis
      @CoffeewdLuis 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I can with confidence say that my Poco F6 will last a full 18 hours if my usage is limited to Calls, Text Messages, checking and replying to emails, and a lot of photos. However, if I take videos, listen to any form of media (TH-cam, Spotify, Netflix, Tiktok), or browse Facebook, the battery usage at most would be less than half. I don't think it can even last 6 hours if I leave playing in the background. As for gaming, I can't give you a better review since I barely even have time to play games. Maybe 1 - 2 hours a day.

    I have been really enjoying light roast coffee using my aeropress and this method: Add 18g coffee (medium to medium-fine) to the chamber (regular orientation, not inverted). Add about 20-30g hot water just off the boil and give it a good swirl. Immediately add another 70-80g more hot water (making it 100g water total) and place the plunger on top making sure there are no gaps. This prevents the brew from draining before you plunge. Leave it brew for a minute to a minute and a half. Grab your mug, aeropress chamber, and plunger altogether and give it a swirl. Wait about 30 seconds, then plunge slowly all the way till the plunger meets the grounds. Remove the aeropress and either enjoy it as an espresso, add 100-125g more hot water for an americano, or add some hot milk for a cappuccino or latte. The americano has been my favorite lately.

      Thank you for the comment! I've only had this phone for a few days but so far it's good. I am coming from a Poco F2 so there is not much difference. The battery lasts for most of the day just like my F2. The screen is also great. The camera is ... not Poco's specialty. It is good for everyday photography. When I play Genshin on max settings, the phone heats up a bit so you can either lower the graphic settings or get one of those cooling fans for phones. Also, you need to debloat built-in apps to improve battery life.

    Maybe for your next test use a Fellow Prismo attachment. Possible ideas in mind. 1. Using the fellow prismo or aeropress flow control cap, syphon the hot water up into the aeropress then press slowly into the cup. Or 2. Rather than pressing down on the plunger. Flip the aeropress (Carefully) and then replace the filter cap with the standard lid and paper filter and turn into your cup. Remove the plunger and let it drip into the cup, more closely replicating the Syphon's brewing process

    I wonder why the 102 isn’t very popular, seemingly. Did the Wave take all the limelight? Would like to see some of the ‘major’ coffee content creators do some thorough testing with the 102. I’ve found that folding the bottom fold a good 5mm above the rippled seam really helps with flow, so that the three holes have contact with just a single layer of paper. Still fine tuning though.

    Not a hater of the inverted method, I just don't see a need for it. As I understand it, people use the inverted method to prevent water from leaking through the filter too early. But I like a big cup of coffee, so I use the standard method by measuring 17 g of coffee and pouring 250 ml of 195° F. water into the cylinder and stir for 10 seconds. As some of the water has passed through the filter, I can add another 150 ml of hot water and stir for 10 seconds, then plunge. I do heat up the cup with water in the microwave beforehand, then dump the water before brewing, and this gives me a great big cup of hot coffee.

    Looking forward to the upgrades. I also have a similar setup with an antique display table, although it's a bit too high for me ( kind of have to hold my kettle up to my shoulders when I pour). For the lighting, I recommend getting a reflector (or a large white board) to bounce off some of that natural light back to your setup.

    • @Dr.Duck22
