Spectacular Views from the Lomond Hills, Fife, Scotland.

Once again, much of Fife has been covered in low-lying cloud due to a temperature inversion. This produces some spectacular views from above the cloud layer, where the bright sunshine illuminates a sea of cloud over what would usually be a town and country landscape. It always amazes me how nimble those machines are, I saw a lot of them in my home city lately.
They make short work of almost any building!
Stunning
Thank you! 😊
Nice views 😊 looks like a great place to fly 👍👍
Thanks 😊 The Lomond Hills are a good place for flying and I have a few routes I'd like to try. I'm hoping for some snow at some point for some different views.

Thanks for the comment, much appreciated 😊 I do like to add some ambient sound to my videos, if possible, but if I haven't been able to capture any audio I will use library/stock audio instead. Thanks for noticing! 🙂👍
Simply amazing 😊 cant wait to fly here, looks like you got a great day for it 😁👍👍
Thanks 😊 Dunnottar is a fantastic place and well worth a visit. Drone flights are prohibited during castle opening times so it's worth planning a visit around that.
Nice flying my friend 😊👍👍
Thanks for the visit, glad you enjoyed the flight. I've checked out your channel and have subscribed, you have some really interesting locations which I will enjoy watching.

Thanks very much, a bit of sunshine at the right time definitely helped!
Stunning 😍 beautiful flight 👍👌
Thank you ☺️
Remember this like it was yesterday... I'm from Kirkcaldy but used to drive past this often. Good to see in more detail here. Thanks for showing us. Much appreciated. 😉👍
It's taken me years to get round to putting this together but better late than never. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
@ianrwm cheers mate... Know the feeling... Me editing a video.... Like a coo wae a gun😆
Wow stunning video loved it!

brilliant my flying friend , i have been following the demolition sometimes aswell
Cheers! 😊 It's almost hard to remember what the site used to look like with the building there.
Ian, great footage, as always.
Thanks, Derek, much appreciated.
Great flight Ian. Fantastic footage 👌👍🏻
Beautiful bay. Lovely flight 👌 Great timing with the train. Rowing the boat was a treat to catch. Fabulous 👍🏻
Thanks very much! I was pleased to catch the rowing boat in such good weather!
Such a shame!
When there is a hole in the clouds and the sun shines through like a huge spotlight, it is absolutely stunning. I know. I open my front door it is staring me in the face. Sometimes when the mist is in the glen, the castle looks like it is floating, more so at night when it is lit up.
What a great view to have from your front door! I'm sure I'll be back here again for another flight, hopefully with some dramatic light.
@@ianrwm You need to see it at night when it is lit up. More so if the mist is down and it looks like it is floating eerily in the air.
Beautiful footage Ian very nice edit 👏👏🎥👍
Thanks, Jim 👍
Spot the Lard Arse. Correct there were none.
Plenty noo though 😅
@@7henke7 you are right pal
Dont breathe that dust
As a lifelong kirkcaldy resident its so sad that kirkcaldys last cinema will soon be gone.
Great footage hopefully you can get some more footage as they go on pesky seagulls
I had a couple of close calls with the gulls, mainly when there wasn't any work going on, but did manage to escape unscathed!
Great footage. Nicely captured and flown 👍👌
I filmed here a couple months back meaning to keep checking for the start of the demolition , looks like I missed it , still might be worth a visit when the machines are at work , I see the Seagulls are still as feisty as when I was there, I had to escape straight upwards a few times 🤣
No gulls there now! 😉 Sorry for taking so long to reply!
@@ianrwm no building left either 😄
That was beautiful, thank you so much for posting it. I wish I was there
Thanks for your comment, much appreciated 😊
Fantastic footage and flight Ian 👏🎥👍
Thanks, Jim.
Nice footage again Ian 👍🏻
Thanks, Brian, a bit of sunshine always helps.
Beautifully captured 👌 lovely flight
Thank you :-)
Me and the wife's favourite place, nice footage of the castle, nice coffee and scones in the Copper Kettle 👍
Thanks, I always enjoy a visit to Bamburgh. I'll bear in the mind the scones for next time.
