Hi we're Tamara & Gary Holm! We bought a fixer-upper in Sicily! It all started when we heard about the 1 Euro houses in Italy- the Case for One Euro program, and we wound up buying a very old house in Sambuca di Sicilia. Spoiler alert: we spent more than 1€ for a house...and are happy we did! Now we are working hard to renovate and getting ready to spend some time in Italy.

We went on an adventure to Sicily to try to buy a house for 1 Euro. We got outbid and what we purchased was actually 19,000 Euros. Then we bought the neighbours for 8,000 Euro.
