Went for a week two weeks ago, It was very fun and enjoyable. I don't think i'll be staying for more than a day again. Not a fan of any "futuristic" looking cities. This is a New York I would have loved to see but I was due in the Summer of that year. I recognize a few locations we were at.

I grew up in the early to mid 90s as a kid in the Bronx before we moved out west. I was 10 years old in 2000 and the crazy thing is we went back, and visitied family there in Bronx in November of 2000. I am now 34, I feel old but the nostalgia hits hard the older I get, but I am thankful that I grew up as a kid in the 90s, and early 2000s, so many good memories, and simple times!

was 14 years old that year , starting high school , had the Sega dreamcast that year , got the PS2 the year after that , same year September 11th happen, that year I think was also x-men the movie not sure . 24 years later I'm now 38 and much has change but many things stayed the same.

I wish I was an adult like 20 years ago. Life sucks now

Seeing this makes me realize how different things are today. World felt completely different, and I know I was just a kid back then and kids perceive things differently and perhaps better but something about the entire atmosphere as well as the culture/way people acted is just unrecognizable now

I miss the late 90s and early 2000s so much it hurts. I'd go back in a heartbeat if time machines existed, and one thing I'd love to do is visit NYC as it was during this pre- 9/11 time when the twin towers were still standing. It just seemed like a wonderful place to be during this time period.

I was 6 and a half around this time. I miss this era. Things felt more natural, human connections existed, media was more innovative and risky, but entertaining and fun at the same time. Fast food even tasted better. A time was definitely had in the 2000s 😌
