Man that was great, and the sound is perfect! My Dad had a '65 Chevelle with the 327 350HP 4-speed. He bought it new, it was the light blue color. I remember it when I was a kid. Beautiful car and pretty fast. I remember as a little kid standing up in the back seat and saying "Daddy go fast!" and he would punch it and pin me to the seat! Great memories! He sold it around '74 unfortunately, but I will never forget it, awesome car.
@@trevorjameson3213 what a great memory man, thank you for sharing! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I had a 63. Great vehicle 👌
Very nice! Thank you!
Beautiful car. My friends dad used to have a ‘64 Impala SS with a 409. Same color as this one. Stunning! Thanks for posting. I am a new subscriber.

I’m confused - I guess I’ve only seen 70’s Chevelle’s, I always remember them looking like longer Camaro’s, this one looks like an Impala or a Malibu and I see the Malibu emblem on the dash - what gives? I love how you get you whole body into the shifts - I do the same in my Honda lol
@@joeymcquilkin3670 this is the first year of the Chevelle, 1964. 64 and 65 were small cars. The Chevelle started taking its bigger and more hotrod shape in 66+

I'd be real nervous about it getting smacked in a store parking lot and having some idiot smoke away. Great Car! I'm 70 and had one that 'Looked" like it except for the interior color. Some nitwit had already re-done it when I got it and that was in '67!

I subbed to your chanel thanks for telling me about the other videos. Im still old school behind time on the internet deal lol. But learning as i go. I just love your car man nothing beats the sound of a well built b.b.c. She looks good black with the red interior. I ran my exhaust the same way on my car the way you did yours and i love the wheels. On my 64 i had a old set of rallys on mine paint matched to the car. If you ever wanted to sell or trade the car please let me no. I was very lucky to not of lost the other 3 cars i had when i had my chevelle stolen from me by my ex. Long story short my dad was a amazing body man painter and mechanic growing up in the mid 80.s and 90.s my dad built also had some beautiful cars. And at 5 years old he had me in the shop by his side teaching me everything i now no. He left his 3 cars he had left to me. At my home i then did not have garage space for them so i left them at my moms also the titles was still at moms. If not and i had them and did them the way i did the 64 my ex would of took them all. Only time in my life i ever had a open stamped title like that. And never thought she would of done that to me. But she did! Put her name in the blank went got a title all the way in her name sold it the same day. And to make it worse the guy who got it is not a nice guy. But i still got a 71 gto 400 4 speed car numbers matching car a few rare factory options. But very solid straight car. Its in carousel red with black interior. Dad got this one in 1983 drove it a few years and in 92 him and i went thro the factory drive train freshed it up. Painted it back the factory color and restored the seats. The car that was my dads baby was a 1957 chevy 150 utility sedan. Came factory with no rear seat. He did the rare black widow clone on this car. It the 283 old school fuel injection engine in it my dad when he did find the motor back in 1978 was not a easy task. He got the car in early 1976 all before my time i was born in 82. But long story short you cant tell its a clone if it was side by side to a real black widow. He did this car himself because he did not finnish it until i was a year old. But this car was his pride and joy. Over many years he won almost every car show he went to and a lot of them was big shows. That car my dad let me drive it to prom in high school he was good to me. Last car i got is a 1953 chevy pickup truck. He got it in late 84 from a old farmer who got it brand new in 1953. It was a western truck very solid and straight truck. He let me help build it as a kid put a 69 nove ss front end under it with disk breaks a rear end from a 70 trans am the motor he put in it was a 69 dz 302 out of a wrecked z28 he found and bought before he even had the truck. But we put the motor in did a mild cam so on but all gone thro and fresh. Trans is a built 350 turbo trans. The wood he put in the bed was ceader wood true corvette rally wheels. Tilt wheel out of the same 70 trans am the rear end come from. Never had to do anything to the seat all original and mint. Truck was blue factory but he painted it red did the dash and inside the cab red. Has mint door panels black carpet. The rear window is beautiful one of a kind he masked off a chevy bow tie and sand blasted the rear window. Every show he and i ever took it to every person with a truck like it asked him were they could buy and order one. The truck was finished and painted in 1990 ppg paint. Dad made that truck look like glass. And still going on 35 years later it still looks like new. But i kept everything the same as dad had it but did a few changes was it. I put in a set of dakota gauges and put in a very nice expensive stereo high tech but made to look original. Cant see the speakers or wires nothing all done good and it really jams. I also put in a eaton posi unit in the rear end. And i took out the ceader wood but still kept it. I had amish that live near to me cut down a black walnut tree i had cut my boards for me looks very beautiful. The frame is mint and done all in por 15. When dad had the cab dipped before dad painted it the guy back in the 80.s told him that was best cab he ever seen. But the bed and fenders was mint also. Truck has full stainless dual exhaust sounds amazing with the mild cam in it. And its a very quick old truck if you wanted to get on it. Once in a blue moon dad would or i do but i take care of her but still a little fun time to time. Dad was from kentucky growing up knew lots of people and billy ray cyrus was one of them. Dad took him a ride in the truck and let him drive it even in kentucky. I got pic.s of my dad and him siting on the tail gate haveing a beer together even. Just a cool thing to tell and pic to have. Also got pics of it when he first got it and lots of the build until done. But the truck you could trust to drive on long trips if want no worries. Im disabled now with lupus and heart problems so cant work no more but still take time to work on my own cars. At times its hard takes a while but i do i love cars and miss having my health to do it every day. Now a days for me its been hard pay bills and broke for the month. Lot of ppl always on me to sell my cars but i cant do that. They are part of me my dad and my life. All of them are so special to me and my 15 year old son some day will be his. Im sorry text you so much of this but the reason i did is i really miss my 64 and would love another one. The way that other guy is that has my old one id never offer to trade him one of these cars to him for mine back. If i trade one i want it to go to a good person. But i figured id ask if you would maybe trade for my gto or my 53 chevy truck? Both very special and nice but to be honest the truck turns more heads than all 3 cars. Wish i could send pictures to you on this some how. It would be extreamly hard to find one more nice and a old school build and done right. The motor its self is not cheap or easy to find. Has everything numbers matching on the motor. All but exhaust manafolds it has headers on it. But i do got the original ones put up. The guages was the best set they sold not cheap. Tells in digital your speed also mechanical and last top speed even quarter mile time. If interested let me no if not its ok. Just love your car and miss mine a lot.
Those sound like great cars man. I like all of those models - sounds like they’ve been treated right too. Love that your father was so involved in them. Mine is too - we still get to do a lot of car work together which means a lot. You should put up some videos of those cars! My 64 isn’t “nice” or in show car condition. And I’m afraid I have too much in it to be able to sell.. not sure I’d trade, but could always think about it. I don’t even know what my car is worth.
Looks like a straight car from videos. And on value im sure it has a decent value to it for sure. Your car is nice tho for sure one you can drive also pull into a car show if want and a lot of people would love it. I will have to ask my son to help me do a video of the truck and gto. Your impala brings back memories my dad use to have a 63 4 door baby blue and blue interior. 283 and 3 on the tree. Was a fun old car.
Figured out how to set a profile pic of the truck lol
@@lancewebb5990 it’s a straight car, it was originally Ermine white so it’s been painted once, back in the 80’s in lacquer. It’s pretty checked and cracked all over. One of the fenders has an inward bow in the middle. But it’s rust free CA car so that’s what counts. Love the big body 4 door Impalas! Ours was originally a 283 power glide car. That truck looks amazing!!!!
Rust free is whats most inportant. Paint is not a big deal at all. Still a very nice car love that car. Thanks on the truck it really is a sharp truck also runs shifts and sounds great. I need to try get a way to do a video of it so you can see. Lol only thing i no what to do is keep changing the pic so you can see if want.
Lock's great
Thanks! Didn’t have an engine in it for the last ten years. Just got and put an engine in it in July.
Murica🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍 Nice car man. And greetings from Sweden. Maga interior😜
I miss my 64 chevelle ss. Body was mint original never cut on solid car. I did a second repaint on it deep Marrone with black interior. The motor was gone when i found the body in a garage for 28 years. I buit up a high nickel 400 s.b.c into a 406 with a nice cam. Car was auto factory so did not go with a m22 i went with a 3 speed auto tci trans. Had a bulit 12 bolt rear end and a eaton posi unit. And a full stainless exhaust and borla mufflers. It had a very nice deep tone to it. And she would fly! I made a very bad choice i kept my title stamped open but in my safe for if i ever died my kids did not have to go through legal crap. My now ex got it out of my safe when on vacation put her name in the buyer area and sold it for 20k. I could not do anything!!! Guy she sold it to would not sell it back to me but did sayif he sold it he take 45k. Still see my car all the time at shows and drive around. But anyway nice car Brother

Beautiful. Good of you to wear that lap belt on that bench seat. I wrecked my 72’ when I went around a curve fast and slid all the way over into the passenger side of the bench. I still had one hand on the wheel as I slid over and I pulled the wheel too far which turned the car way to the left and I hit a concrete light pole. I was so embarrassed when the police showed up. I had to pay for that light pole.
Glad you live to tell the tale!! These old cars are dangerous, especially when they have a lot of power. Gotta have some form of seatbelt!
