Hello, nice video! I have also R5C, but i have a major problem from the start but after the last Firmware 1.0.9.1. was much more worst. And i ll to ask if you or anyone with R5C had the same problem. The problem is with recording times on CF card..... i a format the card on the camera and for example the remain recording time is 64min on CFexpress. If i start recording short clips, 10sec-15sec like Broll, after each RES-STOP the remaining time lost 1min per time doesn't matter if i recording only 10sec. That was doing from the beginning but not so much. From the Canon told me its a normal and advised me to recording without stop, till the card is full.... Does anyone that problem? My R5 doesn't do that of course. Thank you for your time! Dimitris M.

Thank you for your video well i let me know i am going to update it thru sd card. i have download software from cannon official website i have put in to sd card its complety disspear does it requried cf express Type B card?

Before I attempt this update can I retain ALL my current setting ? The last time I did an update all my specific settings were lost but I believed I can save them now ? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

What is the distance / range of the bluetooth device? How far away can you be from the camera and still have connectivity to the camera that is recording audio?

Since we seem to think somewhat the same judging by your excellent videos, I'd like to share with you a camera combination I created which might be of interest to you. I combined my Black Hasselblad 500cm body I purchased 40 years ago with a Phase One IQ280 digital back to create a Phase One XC lite camera. With the rosewood handle and 40mm cf and 80mm cf lens It looks and functions just like the $63,000 model being sold by Phase One. I also use a Hasselblad PME metered viewfinder with the 500cm combo. The Hasselblad x2d and X1Dii are my go to cameras for easy carry.

I'm sorry to say that not all things can be updated in a firmware update however the next iteration of its medium format lineup may include a powerful dual or trio processor that handles the task you speak of. So it would be best to ask for a premium computer chip instead in it's next model.

Buy the new batteries they are the best for the issue batteries I already bought 4 in cold climate I need 2 for a whole day, in warmer climate just 1 but i have 4 just if i need more (i usually dont use more than one in a single day) I shoot stock

Very useful thanks. Since upgrading to 1.0.9.1 my AF touch tracking works but I don't have the square double-walled marker box. The box always displayed before! Posting here incase anyone else has the same problem with this firmware.

FYI Should use WiFi channels 36 and up, which is 5Ghz. 1-11 is 2.4Ghz and will be slower to connect/upload
