If you are not able to perform regeneration due to a check engine light present at the reg requirement time. Try and clean the doser. Check engine should go away in a couple of miles and tou will be able to perform a regen. Clean it periodically anyways, it's a good practice.

Great video! Just so everyone is clear who comes here like I did do NOT use anything but Detroit oil. It’s just not worth it. They are not all equal and they’re very specific about their oils. Their oil you know will work. I have read all over the internet about shops that used some other oil and it didn’t end well. Spray the big plug with PB blaster first because it will be stuck. The slippery Pete pump for gallons on Amazon fits Detroit one gallon bottles. They say to use a new washer on the plugs and check plugs but they don’t come in the kit. Only the big plug and washer are in the kit so reuse the small ones.
Was there actual 3 plugs. Or was it the drain plug that had the filter?

There is no dipstick. Level the truck take off screening tap, insert the finger through it. The oil level should be in line with lower point in screen hole.
does not show fill plug specifically, were 2 plugs removed or 3 plugs. is the fill plug where the screen is, or another plug? please specify? Would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!!

If you hit the 22mm drain plug with a 12 oz hammer a couple times it will break loose easily don’t need the impact

As you facing the front of the truck it's on the right side of the transmission
Is it the t60 star socket towards the top back
They all hex. You will need only the 2 hex I describe in the beginning. At least they were like this on my transmission

what did you do to fix it
Have you recently or ever changed the tires on your truck? If you change the tire radius you have to change the truck's settings.
I purchased this truck 4 months ago and no records of changing tires The dealer did some calibration and still same This is the exact issue i’m having and no one know how to fix it

@@gereltgerelt You need ddl software to be able access truck's settings. Once you connect the truck follow my steps in the video. Find somebody handy with ddl. Or if you are in Portland area we can help. PS this truck case was the previous radius was 23.5 and was changed to 22.5

Yes it did work. I still had to get a new one a couple months later though. It’s just a temp fix

250k ish. All relative to what you would haul. We haul light PnD so once a year is what we aim for.
