Hello, I have a question what that white cable connected to the positive of the battery means, I try to start my engine and I can't.

Running on 2 cyl

I have one of the same that will not start unless its full throttle and will not idle, replace spark plugs, the two round rubber boots on the left side between the throttle body, I get 47 PSI fuel pressure, 110 PSI on all piston, replace water Seperator. Check Air idle sensor on top with the little boot ok and wiring to ecm ok. Still no go. any help would be appreciated. Great Video

At the 2:20 mark you show a black threaded plastic head that runs into a tube and into the motor. What is that for and how to find that piece? The threads on mine is worn and hanging out. Thanks

Hey! I also have a mercury 40hp 2 stroke 2 cylinder engine. but mine idles rough. therefore I wonder how many turns the air screw is threaded out on your carburettor from the bottom. or do you know anything else that can cause a rough idle? steering wheel swings back and forth at idle.
