This channel is dedicated to former MLB pitcher Dave Leiper. Dave Leiper was a left-handed relief pitcher who played in the big leagues from 1984-1996. Dave had a very solid career but for the longest time it was hard to find some, if any videos or highlights of him pitching. Drafted by the Athletic’s in the first round he played with them until being traded to the Padres in 1988. After playing in 89, Dave found himself in the hospital with a heart attack. His career nearly ended, but after Open Heart Surgery, he made his way back the big leagues with the Athletics. 1988 being one of his best years, it was in 94 he could have been considered an all-star, had it not have been for a “Strike” shortened year. He finished his career with pretty good stints in Oakland, then Montreal where he had another couple good years before finishing his career in 96 with the Phillies and then back to the Expos before calling it a career!
