He's right on point. 👍 I disagree only on several topics. 1. New generation djs are lazy want everything easy. 2. Taking 2 hvy bulky turntables to every event. Not practical anymore. 3. Client's don't really care what equipment you are using. As long as the music selection is great, professional set up, excellent sound. But hey bro if your t-tables system keeps bringing in all the cash money... 💰 That's all that matters, lol. 😁 Excellent video.👌 Thanks for sharing. 👍

0:40 a standalone turntable is almost like a DJ controller but without screen which DJ standalones already have in their price bracket and that's big disadvantage in my opinion cause you will either need of your laptop keep buying laptops, or just play like that. And as ironic as it seems you can still do turntablism on a standalone learn how to scratch and all that.

I have both turntables and controllers, and love them. I use a controller much more as it’s more convenient for gigs, but take out the turntables when I’m close and personal with people on the dance floor so they can see the equipment and see full size spinning records. Can’t do cdj style anymore with the static platter, but got everything with rotating vinyl

How many controllers and DVS ready mixers floor the market every few years after the companies force the consumer to “upgrade”. For me it has nothing to do with controller vs TT. It’s the companies taking advantage of DJs and knowing young aspiring kids will buy the newest thing.
