Did they to the tracking on the front after they installed the rack ? because that has to be done after as well , but it should not be hard to steer . Mine is very easy to steer

Its been very reliable tbh and I have done a lot of millage in the car too. This was really the first major thing to go wrong and it was not that expensive to get repaired. One thing they do suffer with is the brake caliper sliders seizing up, but they do come out with a bit of heat on them

@@paulsvidsounds good, glad it served you well. The breaks issue is quite common even on the older generation, interesting that Lexus haven’t fixed a lot of common problems. Cheers for the reply

I would get it checked out asap because if it locks up like mine did while you are driving you will have no steering and end up having an accident

Hi Paul, got the same issue. Do you mind sharing the ebay link you got yours from? Local garage says steering rack might be coded to the car. Mine's 2006 is250 SE-L

I have the same symptoms, locked up on me today I restarted the car and opened again, can you just replace rack or needs to be programmed?

Hi so far it seems to be ok, now I got brake problems which I have to sort out lol. Think one of the discs have warped and they are not very old either.

@@paulsvid I know wat you mean exactly. Lexus failed my mot last year due to the same problem. Had it fixed by them. Bought the car thinking the king of reliability and what not. Since 2020 i have had it, its given me nothing but problems. I am almost thinking to cut my losses with this one.

TBH its been very reliable up until just recently and I have put a lot of millage on it so most of it is just wear and tear really. I'm still happy with the car although I was surprised at the steering rack going @@NutFamousYet

Hi they used to come with a microphone which you could use to record songs from the radio or record players although the quality was pretty poor it was very good for its time lol

I have never done that before but I do know of people who do add stabilzer tablets to the skimmer basket I would in all honsetly not do that and just use the float for adding stabilizer if in tablet form

Hi Im not sure why yours is doing that unless you have an air lock in the pipe or the skimmer is a little bit to high in the water but if you have a pump which does 3800 L/H that should be more than enough for it to work. The water flow is not huge into the skimmer but you should see it collecting floating debris from the pool.

Plug the other suction port if you have 2 suction ports

It is more than likely the fan hitting the heating element because the bolt holding it on works itself loose over time. You can tighten them up In the end we got rid of ours and got a new one but not the same brand and so far have had no issues with it

Hi I have had no issues with that If it is put on wrong it will come off It has to clip in while you turn it

The intex does that to me cause is made for round top rail My pool Is bestway steel pro max with oval top rail this works so much better didn’t have to babysit for once

My grey ring falls off all the time as well and the skimmer itself doesn’t work very well

I had the same problem, I bent the locking tabs on ring now it grips like it was supposed to

Hi it unclips, so where you have the top groove I put a screwdriver under it and uncliped it

Hi It was the nut which came off the fan. It is a size 10 but they are a pain to get on because the fan shaft is not completely round It has a flat side to it. Took me a few attempts to get it to screw back on.

@@szabolcsendrodi3502 I have just repaired exactly the same model, the nut has a left handed thread, it's the opposite way from normal in an attempt to stop the motor spinning the nut off. Obviously doesn't work that well.
