Strictly Bulk in Toronto Canada sells 50 pound bags of deshelled sunflower seeds (so no mess!) for $100. Before the Ukraine/Russia it was $65 - crazy it went up sooooo much. I feed my squirrels that and deshelled (again no mess) peanuts $2.29 a pound. I do treat them with other nuts and fruit too. Love seeing Squirrel inspired YT channels!

Tom, as we named him, was a senior. He was found by my neighbor on the ground and not doing well. They took him in and tried to give him some water, but his path was set. Thanks to my wonderful neighbors who helped Tom complete his journey.

I measured from the trees on the far left to the bird feeder is just under 8 feet. The bbq on the right that is a landing pad, 7 feet. Not bad for an animal that's only 7 inches long!

lol, squirrels are a big problem here, and idk how to put a baffle on the decks posts, so i just chase them away. sometimes when it climbs up, i sneak onto the deck and it pops its head up and quickly runs away

HAHAHHAH exactly the same here, the blue jays were dominating our feeders and the little birds didnt even get a chance. i thought i could start training them to catch peanuts one day. before, they knew i was a peanut dispenser and they would fly onto the roof waiting for me to put the peanuts and leave. after a while, i wanted to see them up close, so i wouldnt leave, but they still came and got peanuts. now i have lots of fun throwing peanuts onto the grass, or on the deck, its so fun watching them hop around and take a peanut. all while the small finches and chickadees enjoy their own seeds.
