First story is just bad IMO, even though the antagonist was an ahole OP wasn't all that much better either. Basically they started making false threats and accusations, more or less doing the exact same thing which the antagonist did. And the reason I think this is bad is because OP essentially being a doormat who can't seem to put their foot down is what led up to the incident in the first place. And yet they learned nothing and can only get "even" by insinuating to be higly unreasonable themselves. Why not start by throwing some of his things away in the same fashion as they did?
