I’ve listened to this so many times. I share it as much as I can. At 1:29 about those that judge need to get a shirt too cause they need it too, that speaks volumes. Thank you for minding the Lord and having a church like you have. My daughter has been going there for a long time. She’s changed so much and has told me how you’re always there for her questions without judgement. Going have to change my TH-cam channel now that all that darkness I’ve carried for so long isn’t there.

He explained James' "faith without works is dead" beautifully. He did however skirt around words for the invitation. Sad, that the decades of that tradition of men (Mark 7:7-9) "to accept the cup". Ugh! First and only command for the invitation is "Repent"! Listen as he says, "accept the cup, and receive GOD's grace and mercy." GOD does not, will not, offer His grace to bring mercy which provides salvation until one is repentent of their sin! The only prayer the LORD hears from a sinner is their pleading with Him to forgive their sins. Then that sinner can come as he is and, now that he is justified, the Holy Spirit starts to sanctify him and prune...put him in the refiner's fire to purify. Once saved, always saved! Caveat: one has to be saved. The Apostle Paul, by the Holy Spirit, tells us when one claims to be saved that we don't automatically believe it but to watch them over a period of time to verify a regenerated life. 1 Timothy 3:6,10, 5:22 To go knocking doors and pressing folks to pray the "sinner's prayer" then to tell them they are forever saved...has just deceived them into eternal security in Hell. Some may break-out and realize but for the most part "this accepting" is a pernicious lie from Satan. Since GOD the Father did NOT spare cursing Christ with every sin of only those who'd believe; how then would anyone foolishly think that GOD would let any sin/s sneak through judgment?! Every sin must be accounted for...either by Christ (death, burial and Resurrection) or by an individual in Hell. Matthew 5:3-16 lays out the sequence of steps one would go through for salvation. Luke 18:9-14 Christ gives us an example of how repentence looks like and how one is going through Matthew 5:3-16. Here's our LORD's inivitation: Matthew 4:17 [17] From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The Jewish bride doesn't accept the cup, but receives it. She was set for marriage by a pre-arraingment (GOD's election) and then waited for him to add an addition (we don't get separate mansions, but all believers in Christ will dwell in our Father's house) and to call her for the wedding (Matthew 25:1-13) aka Rapture (the dead or alive). Her taking the cup meant she understood (recpgnizes her sinful depravity) what would be required (take up our cross daily) of her for that marriage, as we have to count the cost to be saved, and to "accept" means that she has to completely comply with all the requirements. But when the unsaved hear "accept" they... When folks, the lost, are addressed and "their sin" isn't mentioned to be able to receive GOD's grace...the clergy has just made their own religion to come GOD as you choose. Cain decided to offer veggies...his own way. A false religion! No such thing as easy believeism. Think of the Parable of Soils...all four group heard & received the Word, but only 25% were actually saved...those 25%+/- fell on good soil cultivated by the Holy Spirit. Matthew 7:13-23! Since we're in James and he gives 12 tests...he also slips in an inivitation. Here it is...not once is the lost unregenerate sinner ask to "accept". James 4:8-10 [8] Draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. [9] Be miserable and mourn and cry. Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. [10] Humble yourselves in the presence of the LORD, and He will exalt you.

I was born into a family of the Lord and then I fell away but about a week ago I was really sad I was falling down a hole of sin and then a saw a video about the lord and it broke me out and now I’m much much happier praise the Lord

I have never heard the gift of tongues explained so well! I’ve prayed in tongues several times and actually felt guilt because I didn’t know what I said. Seemed like each time that satan came after me so I thought surely I had let him in! Thank you for the clarification.

I am very disappointed at the beginning of this sermon. There was another preacher that used a similar phrase about eve being naked , scripture doesn’t say she was naked , it says they were both naked, and not ashamed. The way it is being portrayed by pastors is that it was about lust. This truly saddens my heart. I know the point of the rest of the sermon but the beginning is not in the word. Wo-man because she was naked was misleading and a stumbling block to unbelievers. Gen. 1:27 , 2:22-23 , Gen. 2:5-11
