2024 Mitsubishi Mirage Review
มุมมอง 4.8Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Mitsubishi Mirage Owners Group Canada On Facebook : groups/1070560114189451/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT Here's a review of my 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage GT. English is my second language, Im a French Canadian and did my best 😅😁. Feel free to reply and/or share the video to your fellow Mirage Owners 🙂 !
How are the LED headlights at night? Can you do a video on that?
@@RealDealFind they are really bright 🙂, with the fogs in combo its even better. Great idea I will post a video soon 😉
I like the steel wheel and sapphire blue combo on yours personally. I LOVE these cars. I had a 2020 Spark and I LOVED it. (He’s wrecked and totaled now RIP.) Wanna get a black or silver one of these. 🖤
@@princeauska thanks :) looks even better with the oem black and silver 15" wheels 😁 Sparks were cool little cars too, its a shame they dont make em anymore...
Do you recommend me to buy one?
loved my 2018 sold because the family outgrew it wish I could have kept it might buy another one mine didn't have any features besides the CVT was an es
@@jd-py5nm they are great cars indeed 🙂 We have a kia Sorento for the long trips and when we need more space. With my 2 kidos it fits but its tight in the mirage 😅
Finally a review for a fully loaded Mirage, and one in Canada at that! You did a fantastic job showing off everything! I'm jealous...I wish I got a fully loaded Mirage. I got a 2023 SE!
@@AnkiRendan thank you :) I love this car. Ive had it for 5 months and Im fully satisfied so far ! Congrats for your 2023 :) what colour is it ?
@@InfinityRoads24 That's awesome! I also found it neat that the Mirage is your family car, since people usually want to upgrade to an SUV. I'm glad it's working out for you on that front! As for my SE, it's a black one. To be honest, I would've preferred red or wine red, but that's all that was available at the time...
@@AnkiRendan it works as a family car very well indeed :) we do have both, we have a 2019 Kia Sorento for longer trips or when we want more space. But for the small trips the Mirage does a great job ! Same here for the colour xD the only colour available for a GT was Blue. Its my first Blue car and it doesnt disappoint so far. Iva had a Black Mitsubishi Lancer Limited back in 2017, it looks good on the Mirage as well. The metal flake in the wine red colour is stunning, I would have love too I feel you.
I am far from Sad. Ever since they stopped discounting them heavily since like pre 2021, they have not been remotely worth it! They were worth it for $10000. Not $17,000! $21,800!? You could buy a well equipped Corolla
@@djkenny1202 The corolla starts at 26,481$ here in canada/québec. Its the base model and its less equiped than the top trim Mirage ;-)
@ woah! How is it so much?
@@djkenny1202 its crazy here... everything is 15-20-25% more expensive than 3 years ago in the new car market :(
@ seems that way, here, to a degree. They are really taking advantage of buyers :( I would not bother with new cars. My wife bought her near loaded premium Forester for 25 grand back in 2017..
@djkenny1202 we need to take a really good care of what we own because its going to get worse. Even the houses prices here have double in 3 years...
Should i buy one to save money on gas so i can save more money?
@@knightrider1545 it could be a nice option to save money on gas :) I have a fully loader GT for 21800$ before pdi and taxes and the base model starts at 16300$. You have until the end of 2024 to order one because its going to be discontinued afterwards
Can these Mirages still actually be custom ordered? They are still being assembled? I didn't know that. Nice look at the motor, thanks I like either white or the deep red plum colors for the Mirage.
@@russellbenney7605 here in canada you can still order one until the end of 2024 :). My dealership is taking orders until the end of December. The metal flake in the red plum coloir is gorgeous indeed !
You need to get yours ASAP they are discontinued after this year model got mine it's awesome
@@wokdelite exactly , dealers will receive their last batch for Q1 2025 and its over
@@InfinityRoads24 cannot get an SE any longer, all that's left is ES. Rats!!! The SE is so very nice.
@@InfinityRoads24 too bad you weren't down here to take my order 😭
Beautiful engine
I think so too, I like the way it looks, simple and clean
too bad they got rid of the manual tranny.
We got our Mirage SE wine red color here in Ohio🙂
@@patrick39432 nice colour choice !! Congrats for the new ride :-)
I have a ‘23 Mirage Hatch ES trim. Love the little car. Sad it’s the last year they’ll be around.
Yup really bad decision to discontinue it. I just love this car, its so cheap on gas, makes you save a ton of money.
Do you recommend me to buy one?
@@basemalmsri5728 it all depends on your needs and taste :) but yes I do recommend this car
Oh, Im a master mechanic and have worked at mega dealerships from Subaru, Honda, mitsu and VW. MITSU are the bedt and are used by Diamler, chrysler, freightliner , nissan and Renault to rob their technology for their own. Mitsu technology was too far ahead of its time. The 3000 Gt VR4, EVO , MONTERO . DIAMANTE,GOT NO RESPECT.
You dont want any car with rear discs . The get all the splash dirt ,rocks and salt. They seize and cost a fortune. Drums are just like they say . Enclosed in a drum. Let Porsche have them.
@@berttompkins9096 Agreed ! And a car this size doesnt need rear discs. It will cost almost nothing to own over time, I think I did the right choice to buy this car over a chevy trax :-)
My wifes es mirage has 195000 miles. The alternator belt wasnt even cracked. This car has paid for itself in gas savings. Its likeva video game. You watch how many mpg on every trip. 51.7 is not to shabby. And this engine IS NOT SLOW. ITS amazing. It can run low like a diesel or hit 6500 redline 80 i. 3rd gear.
@@berttompkins9096 thats amazing ! I think this car is the best bang for the bucks. It cost me 37$ of gaz per 3 weeks, At the end of the year it will be 650$ of gaz insted of almost 2000 with my previous SUV. These 3 cyl engines are awesome.
My new Black Edition is awesome. I have 2 other manual shift mirage. This one has CVT. I cruises at even lower rpm. The quality and tech are awesome. If it said Toyota on the hood it would cost 30k. I've had mitsu motors since 1972 Dodge colts. These cars are TRASHED by the media because they don't advertise there. Mitsu IS JAPAN INC. Like Kawasaki they give away options that Honda would gladly charge you for.
@@berttompkins9096 totally agree, these cars are so reliable Ive had w lancers and 1 Rvr/OS before the Mirage and never had issues. One of the most bullet proof car brand out there !
Great job with this video. Enjoyed it. Thanks.
@@russellbenney7605 thanks for the feedback :-) Im glad you liked it
I got mine back in June. Love it. Owned 3 Geo Metros. The mirage is a lot nicer.
@@Blair62 Congrats !!, 2024 Mirage is indeed a nice vehicle for the price point. Love the leather seats, LEDs and the fuel economy ! What is your trim (ES-Noir-SE/GT) ? :-)
@@InfinityRoads24 I got the ES. Staying on budget.
@@Blair62 Good choice ! The 2024 comes with a lot a options for its price. I think the ES comes with heated seats and auto lights/wipers.
@@InfinityRoads24 No. ES is the base model.
I heard this and ordered one it'll be here end of the month
@@majun26 Nice !! Congrats on the purchase 🙂 hope you will like it. What trim/model is it ? Hatch/G4 ? If its a cvt, be gentle with the car for at least 1K miles, as it will learn your driving habits and will eventually become smoother and smoother 😎
@@InfinityRoads24 I just got the cheapest trim hatchback, I'm on my second RVR now, they never have the Mirage in stock either time when I bought the RVRs. Then one day this fall I saw a really new looking Mirage driving around. Then another one. Then, within a few days of those sightings, the dealership called me, said they're offering good deals on trade ins, so I made an appointment just to see what they'd offer. Then before that appointment I heard the Mirage would be discontinued, so I was determined to get one, I had actually kind of wanted one the last two times but they were never there. They offered me a pretty good trade, and mine needs new tires now and a couple other things, so I think it's good to shake it and get a brand new one with the full warranty, and it will burn way less gas, tires are a lot cheaper, just about everything to do with the upkeep is cheaper. I have to get winter tires right away and get some kind of rust proofing underneath since I'm going to receive it in the winter, I'll have to get a rack on the roof by summertime for bikes, then I plan to drive it until it dies completely, hopefully a pretty long time from now. This will be my first brand new car so you can rest assured I'll be driving it gently. I always loved hatchbacks, it's too bad they're discontinuing this one. At least I got one though.
mine cost me Us $7000. With 20000 miles. The secret of the price was that it was a salvage title car hit on the back, but it was totally repaired. So no evidence of the damage.
@@mluna9cr wow !! Thats an awesome deal ! Is it a 2021+ like mine or a pre-facelift version ?
@@InfinityRoads24 no, it is a 2020
@@mluna9cr only 4 years old ! Got a good deal on this one
Just a suggestion: Paint the steel rims with graphite grey wheel paint and install a set of chrome "beauty rings". I think this will make those steelies look better than the origional alloys.
That would look good indeed 😮 I have 15" stainless/black wheel for summer abd these steelies for winter. I plan on buying wheels for winter season too for next year
The top trim Mirages with the upgraded gauges looks so much better. My 2017 Mirage G4 SE had the upgraded gauges but then they were slightly different and were like an all white with thinner numbers. My 2015 Mirage ES had the old school all orange back lit gauge’s that all other trims still come with all but the top trim lines (SE-USA and GT-Canada). Awesome vids!
I love these analog gauges too ! Todays cars that come with the digital cluster is so boring, love seing the needles moving while driving instead of numbers switching.
Love your video. I loved all 3 of my Mirages. I had a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage SE (top trim like yours in USA), 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE and my first one a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES with Navigation and Back Up Camera Package. I bought them all new. Great lil cars. Love your Blue GT.
Thanks for the comment 🙂 Youve had all 3 facelift Mirage 😮 wich one was your favorite ?
@ Definitely liked my 2021 Mirage SE it was like the one you have same style. Mine was just like yours but red. One of the main reasons I upgraded to it was those damn plaid seats I loved them haha. They are durable and made well too. I also loved the led headlights and led day time running lights, upgraded gauges like yours, and I had the factory remote start. I have a ton of Mirage videos on my channel lol. I now own a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium I purchased new in October 2023 and I traded the 2021 Mirage for it. I love the Kicks and all the tons and tons a features it has but man I miss the Mirage and its unique quirks and the sound of that gruff 3 cylinder. My co worker that is 82 owns a loaded 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE Sedan that has all the features yours has as its the top trim but in the G4 top trim it has very basic cloth seats I wish they had put the plaid cloth-leatherette seats in it as well.
@@kmckenzie2461nice choice with the Kicks, my collegue bought one and its gorgeous, almost the same blue colour as my Mirage. I never understood why in the G4, leather seats were not available, but it has a lot of cargo room in the trunk. I was one of these guys who was bashing on the Mirage when it came out in 2014 but man.. I wish I knew earlier how great it was and still is. Im really satisfied with it so far and it will last forever, I only drive about 5-6K miles per year.
Might I ask why you go through so many cars? I have a 2017 with 145,000 miles on it and it has no issues. I can't imagine having to change it.
@@snwbm Thats awesome! I really like my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE. Its just something I do. No reason really. After 2-3 years I like to get something new for the fun of it. I have always loved smaller cars and would even drive a smaller car or SUV if I was a millionaire. So being that I like smaller cars in their top trim it makes it more attainable for me to be able to trade in every few years cause the prices are good. But wow have new car and SUV prices gone through the roof. Its unreal. The cheapest brand new car I even bought was a White 2002 Kia Rio 5 speed sedan with optional A/C, optional power steering, optional tachometer and optional AM/FM/CD Player and its MSRP was something like $10,500.00 after the add ons. The most expensive brand new car I have ever bought was my 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring with S-AWC and its MSRP was $32,245.00 I believe but I got huge dealer discounts and Mitsubishi rebates on it so it was around $27,000.00. I dono what my next car will be. I really don’t know. I dono if I would ever go electric but if I did it would be a small option and I have no need to go over $30,000.00 and thats hard in an EV. I love the new Fiat 500E in the Rose Gold but they are priced too high with not enough range for that price but as far as the styling, and size and interior I absolutely love it. Just not big on electric cars overall. Plus if I plugged it in at work some skank would steal the charger Im sure as they are always stealing cigs from the cig can, or chairs or out of the company dumpster. Heck even a delivery guy up the road from my work left his car running while he went in to grab his next food order to deliver and came back out and his car was gone.
Any rubbing with those wheel setup
@@ttowen02271 no because its all oem specs 😉

what's the rear brake?
All trim levels come with rear drums
Rear drums with cable hand e brakes. They need nothing and done seize like rear disc's.
Its a very realiable car.. and easy to maintain.. the parts are alwayd there and not expensive . 3 cylinder its a fuel effiecient. And. Decent power...
Indeed ! We already have our family size SUV so I really wanted something small as a 2nd car , that is affordable and reliable just to go to work. Really like it so far !
I'm 15, about to turn 16. I was thinking of getting this, but the G4 instead, as these are reliable, and I love how this car has a 3-cylinder. I actually think the engine sounds better than most 4-cylinders
You will love it ! Not a lot of power but it does sound surprisingly good and its cheap on gas. Average 4.8-5.2L/100km - 45-50mpgs. Insurance is cheap, warranty is the best on the market and the G4 does have a bigger trunk than the hatch ! Hope you will like it 😎
@InfinityRoads24 This car is calling to me. They're everywhere where I live
@christiantaylor9873 I see them a lot here too in Quebec. Mitsubishi is a popular brand here 🙂
I thought about one and sat in one today but couldn't get comfortable due to being too tall. It sucked because I wish I was only shorter because this would be a great car for me, otherwise.
@@CJ-wc6lf Im 5'7" and I fit perfectly in it , but if you are tall, the rearview mirror gets in the way too 🙁 also they did not put a telescopic steering wheel wich doesnt help taller people.
Oups misspoke with the steering wheel 😅 cruise control not traction control
Hope to see more videos of your Mirage HB... as well as pms videos, Thanks!
Thanks 🎉 I will do more videos for sure. Its a shame that mitsubishi discontinued this car after 2024. People still have until December to order one.
I wish they blacked out the housing in the front
I agree, the tail lights are blacked out, shouldve done the headlights too ;)
One thing to correct, it's not blind spot monitoring it's lane assist
True my mistake 😅
Great video! I'd like to put those seats in my 2022 ES. Mine will be 3 years old on November 20th. I'll be doing another owner review.
