The Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society, from the Greater Boston area, is
a six-member band that plays Celtic, maritime, American Colonial and Federal, French Canadian and original songs and tunes since 1975. We perform in coffeehouses, parks and museums, fairs and festivals, Independent Living and nursing home venues and celebration concerts, as well as at private parties and conventions.

November 2023 house party
The Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society was asked to perform at a house party in Jamaica Plain, a neighborhood in Boston. Their set features Nancy Koch on Accordion, Linda Abrams on banjo, Ben Bruno on fiddle, and David "Doc" Rosen on bodhran, an Irish goat skin drum. This is a medley of two Irish tunes, the Cliffs of Moher, and Calliope House (2:43) The Cliffs of Moher is a traditional Irish tune. Calliope House is by Dave Richardson, with the Boys of the Lough. This was video recorded by Owen Hartford, co-founder of the Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society. The accomplished duo, Sid and Sonia, also played at the house party.
