Thanks! It was $20 per person for the full breakfast surcharge plus VAT. The included continental breakfast is good, but it may be worth splurging on breakfast once every few days you are there... mainly for variety.

Thank you! This video was one of my earlier ones and was shot on iPhone 13 Pro using the Protake app. I have since upgraded and current videos are shot using the DJI Pocket 3. The quality on the pocket 3 with the built-in Gimbal, especially at night, is far superior.
i was there and the sliding doors to the bathroom were so nice. i loved the modern design of the room. (the seat in the shower is so convenient! because im too lazy too stand in the shower 😅)

How/When were you able to get this footage with no one else in it?
I typically go out and film early in the morning before most guests wake up. Even still, I was surprised how empty some of these areas were.
Gonna book a 7 day vacation as soon as i win the lottery :)
This resort is the best use of HIlton Honors points. Bank those up and get the room for free. Although you will still spend a lot while there, it makes the trip a lot more attainable.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience and the detailed videos. 👍🏻 We will be visiting next February and I am trying to figure out which side is best to catch a glimpse of the sunset from your reef villa. I understand there is not such sunset side for those villas but depending o. The time of the year one side might be better than the other. Would you recommend the lagoon side or reef side? Thank you.
The villas are situated facing north and south, so there really aren't "sunset" villas at this resort. The lagoon side will have calmer waters than the ocean side. However, there is a lot of motor sports activity in the lagoon with jet skis going in and out all day, while the ocean side gets a lot less action and has more privacy.

I visited Atlantis Paradise Island last month with my sixteen year old daughter and twenty year old stepson. Definitely a bucket list vacation. This video captures basically everything!!! We stayed at the Royal. Staff and people were amazing. Look closely at the meal plan option, take some time to visit downtown Nassau, including the pirate museum 😀

What an absolutely stunning resort, like a dream come true! We'd love to experience that ultimate luxury and stay in an overwater villa.
Atlantis or grand baha mar?
It depends. Both have tons of amenities for adults and kids including tons of pools and a water park. Food at Baha Mar is better, but is definitely more expensive. Food at Atlantis is still good and has more kid options at better prices. Atlantis has more marine life and Dolphin Cay onsite. Beaches are also better at Atlantis. However, Baha Mar is much newer and nicer overall. The casino is also larger and nicer. Overall, you will enjoy both, so I say pick based on which of the mentioned amenities are most important to you.

Been on the other ships and this ship. Not worth the money, in comparison. Horrible deck plan. Aqua Mouse was broken down more than it ran. The themed dining rooms are too obnoxious to enjoy your meal. You couldn't pay me to get back on this floating nightmare.
I agree with you on the dining. Arendelle in particular was loud and busy.

Thank you kindly for sharing this little gem hidden in the Indian Ocean. The one and only Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi. A getaway to this outstandingly beautiful place is like a dream. Everything is so pretty, well cared for, clean, lot's of hygiene in the water bungalows, the foyer, the bars, boutique, spa/gymnasium, restaurants, the whole resort. Add to this wonderful marvelous collection the impecable weather filled with sun, powder blue skies and the natural smell of the ocean and the pristine lagoon and it's coconut white fine sand. This is truly a trip worth taking for a honeymoon and or an anniversary. I am guessing that 1 week accomodations with food and drinks and airfare from New York, London, Paris must be $10,000.00 dollars per person but worth it. All the best happy Summer of 2024.
You're welcome! It certainly isn't cheap, but a hack is to utilize Hilton points to book this resort. The villa shown in the video is bookable on points. Even when using points, budget minimally $700 per night of stay or upwards of $1000 per night of stay if you plan on visiting the spa or doing water sports. Lastly, the yacht transfer is mandatory and expensive at close to $1000 per person round trip. Still, it is well worth it!

Great video! How was the water temp during the holidays? We are planning to go there this year during late Dec and would like to do snorkeling and other water activities.
The water temp can vary from the low to mid 70's. The air temp also fluctuates between low 70s and about 80. The ocean water is a bit on the cool side, so don't expect to spend long periods in the ocean unless you can tolerate the cooler waters. Also, the pools can be a little cold as well. However, there are a couple of pools that are heated at Baha Mar.
