Tom and I met in childhood and in a dream I had at age 16. That I would grow up and find him and our lives played out like the most romantic movie of all times in history. I didn’t recognize him at first when I met him in adulthood and he said as he held me tell me about our childhood. There were so many gals meeting him from childhood to adulthood that I could not stop speaking I wanted him to know me inside and out every place I had ever been every flower every tree every person I have ever loved. He was from the nicest Christian old fashioned community that you can image and yes the home I had left behind held a family of six very different people. He knew me from the swimming pool and from his parents golf course but he didn’t know the inner days of my childhood. I would play board games with my older siblings then go out to the baseball Diamond that was across the street I would swing and slide on the play ground and climb the monkey bars. I would go to church at five am stain glass and formal but in the afternoon take my shoes off and run barefoot in the grass. My footprints were in the sand of turkey foot lake and Toms were in the sand at Carolina beach…. But through the magic of travel and cars I too was there with my beach ball and with my father. My father was a businessman and I traveled a lot in the back seat of his car. I would look out over lake site and ask my dad is that the ocean is Canada on the other side he said yes and he would take me to cape hatterass and tell me look there is England. I thought I was just near sited and needed glasses.

My niece Katie plays chello for the Peabody symphony orchestra. She teaches music. Charleston sc where I’m at the holy city has small romantic gardens between the house. The yards are gated off with iron gates. They open up for occasions and formal gatherings. The city has an event every single day and every weekend. Some of the events are religious some are historical.

The first time we met, he played the piano for me and eventually asked me if I wanted him to play something in particular. I asked for this piece and he played it from memory. Thank you !
