Hey Guys, Here's a short but really interesting part where Guardiola answers these three questions: - Sum up your football philosophy in one sentence - Would you sacrifice your philosophy for results? - How do you assess a player? The most important things he talked about, in my view: - Never question your main principles, but remain open to adapting sub-principles - If you observe attentively,...

Why Football Formations Are OVERRATED
Against top half teams who press aggresssive thie works but agsinst lower half teams who sit deep and tight it difficult
3-3-4 long ball no messing about oh point is to score not pass it about
Feyenoord, champions leage and you can battle your former assistant :p
All my chelsea brothers gather around this man will take us to the top
There goes the Boss :'( ♥
He has the potential to become a top class manager like pep kloop and the likes i was though abit shocked he resigned from brighton perhaps there is a bigger offer of a bigger club that reached out to him wouldn't be surprised if becomes the next big thing in Europe 💯👌
New Bayern Munich Trainer thats Brave from Munich and i hope Vincent can take The Chance and Win, Win, Win and lot of Titles for Bayern.
why would someone come out to tell the opponents how his tactics work
because its already known for the coaches and their staff its only new to us the fans
Well that’s idiotic why to explain your tactics I can’t understand that, opponents would always have the advantage against you
Either way, other clubs/managers are studying you. His not telling his opponents thing they do not know. This is the highest level of football.
A clown....
Son is well past it.
Come to Bayern Munich ❤❤❤
Sadly not :( it will be kompany

So son knows how to miss a GOAL!!!!
Guardiola is a manipulator.
Pep usually had these reactions..watch Mo Salah against City
That's why he won't win anything hw I this world can miss a 87 min chance
Every manager will do same reaction on the clumsy performance of the left-defender.
One chip shoot can change the champ pls lear chip like Messi Argentina win and city also the same history
arsenal fans are shameless
You are also shameless
The whole goal is open for him on the right, the keeper is already down, and he chose to do this
And I'll bet my house that if you were given 100 opportunities exactly like that with a doll in goal, you will miss every single one of them
But here you are, the great football expert telling us what Son should and shouldn't have done
@@abstraqtphilosophy7357I see nothing wrong here. It was a good save. The guy is probably just an Arsenal fan being salty that Ortega saved it!
So fucked the league to a farmers league
@@DavidMutori it has always been a farmer's league. Klopp and Liverpool are the only ones who aren't farmers to Man City. The other 18 clubs and their managers are all farmers
😂
😂😂😂
Knowledge is power, thanks for the interview with the Great
The build up is the easy bit. The scoring is the hard part.
I agree with you: the final part of the game (the finishing zone) is where players shine with their intuition and creativity, and it's tough for coaches to control that. On the other hand, the first two parts, especially the first zone where teams build up their play, are areas where coaching can have a bigger impact. Here, coaches can teach specific patterns, principles and opportunities that players can follow more easily.
Ronaldinho was a prophet. He saw the GOAT before the world knew him.
Pep want all the team play like that so it will be easy job for him to dominate EPL 😂😂 He will sell his philosophy but he so smart because he will only choose club that provides him unlimited budget!! The BEST philosophy is to find a strategy to WIN based on your team and the opponent team strengths and weaknesses. Jose Mourinho is the master. Pep many times get destroyed by Jose. Prime Barcelona lost to Inter & Real Madrid then Prime Man City lost to worst Man United and Tottenham. Let say we change side.. Jose with Prime Barca and Man City team VS Pep with his philosophy with Inter, Real, worst Man United and Tottenham team..Believe me it will be worst than Brighton side that easily lost more than 3 goals every game 😂😂😂. Even Klopp is far away better than him..Its only took 4 years for Liverpool to become UCL champion with weaker team to build compare to Pep with City strong teams & after huge spending he took 7 years to win but without his philosophy because before that he lost to Tuchel Chelsea team in UCL final because of his philosophy 😂😂😂 then he forget his philosophy when play Inter in the final 😂😂😂 For EPL he can dominate because others team dont have 2 team like him when to face fatigue, injury & etc.. Still he got beaten by Jose worst United & Spurs team 😂😂😂 Ancelloti & Zidane philosophy made Real Madrid 5x UCL champions in 10 years 😂😂😂 What happened to Barca try to play Tiki Taka without Messi Xavi Iniesta Neymar Suarez.. To be Champions must have WINNING philosophy..dont get fool by in terms of modern football unless you dont have Winning mentality then OK.
Great Compilation 💯 Cruyff is a true legend of the game, always love listening to his insightful thoughts.
Come to fc bayern pls 🔥
*HE WOULD FLOURISH*
Whats best counter formation for this formation? I am leaning towards a 3-4-3.
It always depends on the strengths and weaknesses of your team as well as those of the opponent. Simply put, formations can be divided into two categories: offensive formations and defensive formations. For example, let's consider Manchester City. On paper, they typically line up in a 4-3-3 formation. However, when they are on the attack and already in the second or third zone, they often switch to a 3-2-5. In defense, they mostly adopt a 4-4-2 formation. It always depends on the execution. Therefore, it's not easy to say which formation is the best choice against another. A 3-4-3 formation, for instance, is generally quite offensive and effective for early pressing. In a 5-3-2 formation, the wing positions are not optimally covered, so exploiting this weakness is crucial. The wing-backs in the back five must cover a lot of ground, making it advantageous to outnumber them in those areas. If the striker in a 3-4-3 is versatile and adept at dropping back effectively, it's also possible to create a numerical advantage in the center against the three players in the 5-3-2. It would be wrong of me to assert that any particular strategy is definitive, as I do not know how the opponent executes their 5-3-2 formation. In my newsletter, you can learn more about these formations (5-3-2 and 3-4-3) if you're interested: fussballs-newsletter-4ebdfb.beehiiv.com/p/comparing-formations I hope this information has been helpful. If you have further questions, feel free to email me at team_fussballcoaches@outlook.com
@fussballcoaches i switched them to a 3-3-4 vs the 5-3-2 and it was quite dominant. Thank you.

If he comes to Milan (unfotunately not now because of an incompetent board), he'll transform Leao into a serious and regular Ballon d'Or contender. Mark my words
Coach brought all his brain power, for a war of interrogation in tactics dissapointed he got a little skirmish. 😅😅😅.
Seen this in the recent Liverpool brighton game but he’d be no good for Liverpool. Starting with 6 at the back playing the ball fast and encouraging a press and then having overloads to quickly get out and attack the massive spaces in midfield and up front is great for a team like brighton at anfield. He wouldnt be able to do that at Liverpool because sheff utd or a sam allardyce side arent going to press us. They’ll just let de zerbi have the ball and drop so he’d need to completely change that mindset. There would be no space in the final third for his chess pieces. I dont like managers who treat it like a science.
When he has a team like Man United he's gonna destroy you even if you play 20 defenders
@@Eye-it-azz he’d be like a rafa, we’d draw too many games. He’d struggle against little sides we’re expected to beat at anfield but there’d be some great results against big teams
"Keeping the ball" isn't a philosophy, it's a dogma....
Hahaha... The English: you can't build up from the back here in the PL. Like the PL was any good at pressing high up 😂😂😂 Such a d*mb football culture.
Gerrard and Lampard: “Let’s have everyone behind the ball and kick it long.”
you forgot ten hag
You guys keep putting Gerrard as worst managers y’all forget what he did in Scotland
i remember arsenal scoring 2 goals which were carbon copies of each other, 1 was against man city in the fa cup semi final in 2020, so clearly there are cases of rehearsed plays being used in football as well
Absolutely, especially set pieces are ideal for this. I can imagine that in the future, there will be attempts to exert even more influence, although it's relatively challenging in football due to its fluid nature. However, it's interesting to see that we can learn from other sports when we're curious and always open to learning
@@fussballcoaches yeah arteta said in an interview with jamie carragher he is in a whatsapp group with other coaches from different sports so this new gen of managers will bring this evolution
@@RAHMAN-qb5ed I didn't know there was already such close contact... very interesting
That's superb. I played football for years and never noticed these aspects.
Thank you for the message. I felt the same way. The more I analyze the sport and educate myself, the clearer it becomes to me that I still know so little. I wish I had coaches during my younger years (although I still play, I'm not as young anymore) who truly explained football to me. Winning is important, but especially as a young player, you should always be learning. With this channel, I'm now trying to share everything I've learned or read.
Maturing is realising that instead of going for Dan Ashworth, they should re employ Ragnick and actually bloody listen to him.
