It's not too soon. The lack of good music festivals in Scotland is currently ridiculous. What happened historically was bad luck, bad management and honest mistakes. At least they tried and made a major success of it for many years. What happened needs confined to history and the new festival needs some positivity or we'll lose it before it's off the ground. Get a better sound guy. No matter what you think about the Grateful Dead or Phish or Widespread Panic etc their vocal and instrument separation is amazing…no problems hearing vocals, guitars or bass. Jane’s Addiciton’s sound sounds like it’s all a wash.

The first big lie, is about the numbers. There were no "1000s". All combined, from both ends, at very most, 700. The very maximum number of true Nationalists would be 300. It was perhaps 200 to 250. At the end with the Hamas supporters (the true nationalists had nothing to do with Palestine btw), there was a vocal and loudly amplified front of perhaps 200. The main speaker was non local. Far behind them was a crowd of about 200 at most, doing nothing, and staying well away from the actual Hamas demo. Also note, there were 7 coaches parked in the street near the hamas supporters, and banners all printed by the SWP, all of this funded by the Unions and unknown NGOs or individuals. The true nationalists had almost no publicity, and zero outside funding. They made their own way to the demo, and, aside from a tiny minority of young teenaged, alleged pub attackers, they were a mature and peaceful crowd who behaved impeccably (it is notable that a masked faction of attackers, from the hamas end, called 'the green brigade' had to be kettled for their own safety by the police). All the true nationalist speakers were local

My experience with Scientology is that they tried giving me a flyer and I brushed it off because I was in a rush.
