Sorry Jason. I admire your optimistic belief about humanity because of what it says about you - but I simply don’t agree that all humans are founded in love. As a child I endured nearly two decades of severe abuse, assault and attempted murder at the hands of my own family. During the murder attempt the last thing I saw before losing consciousness was my two perpetrating siblings laughing and commenting with glee that my lips had gone blue and my skin mottled. I was only 4. (They were much older). Some humans are not founded in love. Our challenge is to recognize and mitigate their negative impact on the world we live in.
