Totally agree, "unaccomplished mission" does not take away from the impressiveness, the experience and the magnificence. In the school of life, the journey, the company and experience is, in my view, an accomplished mission in and of itself. Wow!
Although the mission was failed, the accomplishment is still very impressive! Good job! Very few people would even have the guts to do that.
