I have posted covers of this song's Rhythm & Bass sides in the past but this is the 1st time I've thrown the Lead side on here. The score when I started this attempt had been sitting at 84.2% accuracy. I did not keep or post the attempt which resulted in that score so I don't know what the actual score was. I say that because as a result of this attempt, I can clearly see the scoring system to this CDLC IS NOT working properly.
On this attempt, Rocksmith showed my score going up from 84.2% accuracy to something between 87.7% accuracy and 89% accuracy. I've seen broken CDLC scores before and this is a rare manner in which this one is not working properly. I'm just going to roughly assume my high score is 89% based on this result as far as I can tell.
I actually tried the Rhythm side once before I played the Lead side to re-familiarize myself with the song. That did help with this Lead side for sure. I missed my high-score attempt on the Rhythm side by 1% on that attempt so I did not upload that attempt. This is no masterpiece that is without question but it's pretty good for me personally. Not clean and clear but I am managing to hit things I know I wouldn't have touched a few months ago. That's improvement and that's all I ask for... It's why I'm here doing this... To Improve at it.
I actually really quite love this song. I really liked a few songs on this album. I know Metallica is a very polarizing band when it comes to opinions. I'm certainly not going to talk any s**t because they very much are Legends of Metal for a reason and nobody (who is sane and rational) can really argue that point. That's all I need to know. They're far better than I am and therefore I can learn from them. As some of their famous lyrics say... "Nothing Else Matters"
