Hello! My name is Cooper. I've been photographing and filming trains in the Pacific Northwest since 2017. I hope you take the time to watch my videos!
Ex Cotton Belt GP60 Loads Alaska RR Dock & More Seattle Trains!
Here’s a collection of trains I captured over three days in Seattle.
Day 1 we find UP 1076 working the Harbor Island local, where it switches the industry of the Alaska Railroad dock, where you see workers latching the rolling stock onto the ship, where it will eventually find its way into Alaska to interchange with the ARR. It was just the right time and place for me to find this ex Cotton Belt GP60 doing the hard work, as it would over 30 years ago when it would pull heavy Southern Pacific trains across the west. The unit left the next day on M-SEPD after 1 day on the local.
Cut to day 2 at Interbay (Balmer Yard) Amtrak 8 departs Seattle with AMTK 160 in the lead with its retro 1990's 'Pepsi Can" heritage unit scheme. We also see switching in the yard, including undelivered/uncompleted 737 MAX fuselages, and my personal favorite catch of the day, BN 'Cascade Green' 2096, covered in my previous upload.
Day 3 we see the BNSF U-CNFTAO with a solid set of CN units, as well as Amtrak 7 heading back into the coach yard after wying its set, as it meets the R-NWE737.
0:01 Harbor Island Local
6:35 Amtrak 8
6:58 Y-INB 2191
8:10 BNSF 2096
8:38 U-CNFTAO
10:34 Amtrak 7 & R-NWE737
11:33 Amtrak 517
Thank You For Watching!

Cascade Green Survives! - BNSF 2096 at Interbay, Seattle, WA
มุมมอง 396หลายเดือนก่อน
I headed up to Interbay this morning in hopes of catching an outbound OCS, only for it to depart 30 minutes early heading southbound. But luck was still with me, as today's Y-INB1191 was sporting a BN GP38-2 in the lead. With the classic green and black colors of the Burlington Northern Railroad slowly but surely fading out of existence due to repaints and storage, I had to take the time to fil...

Amtrak Talgo 6 Funeral Train - Tacoma, WA
มุมมอง 4.5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
2/28/21 Amtrak had retired their 1998-built Talgo series 6 train-sets from service back in the summer of 2020, and now all that's left for them is to move the final 2 remaining out of Seattle. Their assumed fate is storage/scrap near Los Angeles, CA and assumed to never run again. It's too bad these nice old coaches are finally going to be a sight of the past. I had such great memories of seein...
Three CN GEs Power BNSF Train H-VBTVAW
มุมมอง 7043 ปีที่แล้ว
(1/8/21) Working at 21st Street in Tacoma, WA, three Canadian National GE locomotives including two trailing Dash 8s power train H-VBTVAW this rainy Friday. Knowing I had the opportunity, I decided to take video with my new Canon Rebel SL3 I've been mostly taking pictures on. I chased the train down to Old Town and was able to get the camera out just in time to film an Amtrak Cascades deadhead ...

Shot on my IPhone 8 on December 10th. One of BNSF’s 10 new 25th Anniversary GEs leading the H-LYDVBT manifest in Tacoma, WA. The location is private access. My apologies for the early ending, it ran out of batteries right as the end went by.
Northern Pacific Steam Returns! NP 924 First Excursion Train
มุมมอง 2.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
11/1/20 NP 924 running its first public excursion trip since restoration! It is an 0-6-0 built in 1899 and has brought back steam to NP since the complete retirement of NP S-10 no.328 back in 2001. The excursion was held by the Northwest Railway Museum in and out of Snoqualmie, WA. Hope you enjoy! ©2020 TNRP Video

A nice and sunny late afternoon at Titlow Beach in Tacoma, WA brings us some great scenery and a good amount of action. A southbound BNSF manifest had a nice pair of Washington State Grain Train hoppers, and I was able to capture the EVEROO garbage as well. Hope you enjoy! ©2020 TNRP Video

Columbia River Railfanning 2020
มุมมอง 3.7K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Planning the vacation since around March, I was finally able to get out and spend a few days exploring the Columbia River Gorge from the end of June to early July, 3 days in total. Overall, it turned out great. Instead of making separate videos and a trailer like 2018, I decided to make the whole thing in one, this time just squeezed in. It features trains mostly on the BNSF Fallbridge, and UP ...

One of CP's military honoring SD70ACUs hits the Pacific Northwest on the UP Canadian Export (Eastport, ID) to Tacoma grain train, trailing but nonetheless amazing. This is the second unit of one of 5 CP SD70s in special military paint that have appeared on the BNSF Seattle Subdivision so far. Here's a series of footage I've taken in Tacoma, WA. 8/15/20 (8 PM) - The train arrives in Tacoma (TEMC...
Two Trains in Sunriver, OR
มุมมอง 5444 ปีที่แล้ว
8/7/20 On a short family vacation at Sunriver Resort in Oregon, I thought I'd shoot whatever would go by on the BNSF Oregon Trunk Subdivision. Sneaking up on me, train H-FRSPAS1 06A passed Northbound at 1:20 PM, later waiting in the siding at Lava, Southbound H-PASFRS1 06A would finally head south at 4:07 PM. Two trains on a slow line, best I could get. I hope you enjoy! ©2020 TNRP Video

Nice doubleheader SC-44 :).
Sorry this is 4 years late, but I have a question about why that BNSF SD75 that is coupled up to the SC-44? Why is that?
Seen this guy out and about a couple times. Always nice to see an old veteran still doing what it was built to do. Its also cool how you can see the original number through the patch!
90230 seems to have a dent in its nose at that time.
Good thing BNSF kept some Burlington Northern units in their original liveries.
❤ old greeny working hard 🚂
I have some footage of it switching a few weeks ago, need to put it together and edit it soon.
0:14 0:37 a once rare sight to become common later on
Glad to see you back in action
YES!
Excellent shots! Glad you're back!
Yoooo what
It's great to be back, more videos coming soon!
Bnsf needs to stop repainting the santa fe warbonnets
I thought this was Centralia, Illinois.
Those B units are cool.
These locomotives are exported to Gabon
they look way better just change the colar
0:21What's the sound of the horn in?
If I had expendable income, I would have wanted to save at least one Talgo Series VI train set, then converted it for longer distance travel, for instance, sleeping accommodations. I also would have had the seats which were determined to not protect the passengers adequately with seats that provided the protection necessary. My reason for this is because I find the passive tilting Talgo Pendular series quite fascinating.
its a rare one
My favorite catch was the double train / rescue.
first why is the surfliner on cascades?
Couldn’t believe there was a new cp sd70acu on the final train

Great video on BNSF Railroad main line trains Cephalon updates your beautiful video friend
I wish they would tell us more about where these videos are filmed.
What happened to 4336? It looks like it had some kind of damage done to it.
Crew change
Great catches
Something is missing with those talgo 8 sets: a buffer car for a smooth transition between sizes like the 6 sets.
Those two sets should be at the B&O railroad museum and the California state railroad museum respectively
When are you going to upload another video?
I absolutely love this locomotive it would be great to see it in person someday but not only do I like the locomotive but I also love the Northern Pacific because both my great grandfather and my great great grandfather worked for this railroad and whenever seeing videos of the railroad or any locomotives and rolling stock it brings back so much memories!!👍
Have stayed there multiple times over the years. Always a nice stay and excellent service. Rented a car and enjoyed Glacer.
At 3:50, there is a Norfolk Southern locomotive. Don't we have Norfolk Southern trains in Washington state?
F40ph are ugly
Love it and would 328 be running again.
I saw the same train in beillingham,Wa
Nice, but whas this trains at the classification yard like trains shunting them to the departure yard or is this really the departure yard where trains gets coupled to the rail cars for delivery
Nice :) I've gotten a lil lucky in my home town recently I've seen two in less than a month
nice video of this surfliners in Oakland I see the secnt Surfline bro 2 trains for a sutin reason problem then a swisher took the secnt train away so the train that it was being sold by could continue on it self
I wonder if that bnsf power move is in fact a helper needing to be refueled before heading back to its assigned siding to wait for stalls
Nice video with the freight train and its route!
Great Video, New Sub here, thanks for sharing
Beautiful video! Great work!
