Our Paws in the Pen training program in the state penitentiary connects homeless dogs with inmates for an 8-week training program, where dogs stay 24/7 with inmates. After this intense program, the dogs are highly adoptable. The program is a win-win for both dogs and inmates.

At Española Humane, we believe the most effective way to end animal suffering and homelessness is through spaying and neutering. That's way our services are free in our region.
