The 7950x is better but also more expensive than the 12900k (I looked at the bundle it was 200$ more for like 4% performance increase)

I originally wanted to go with a 850w power supply however they were out at the micro center I went to and I didn’t have enough budget to get a 1000w so the guy I was with was like here this will work fine (this is the first part I’m upgrading whenever I get money to do so)

@@errmono please remember, performance over ascetics if ur on a tight budget.

I know but I had picked out the power supply beforehand but they just didn’t have it in stock so I used the extra money from the smaller psu to get a better monitor

I was using davinci resolve (also I wanted the pretty shiny box leave me alone)

@@errmono yea absolutely, but it didn’t make sense to invest all that money on a 150 sub channel, however if you do editing as a Job it totally does. (Besides the money is yours so do what you want with it :))
