Surprised about that last part. Medly's been my tool for the last 7 years (so most of the remixes on this channel use it. Only a few were made with Auxy before that app went garbage.)

@@Azran127 I see. I use Medly primarily (have done for about 5 years), but I would also recommend LMMS (on PC) since it’s free too and there’s quite a lot you can do with it, like import your own sound fonts. Sometimes I would convert my Medly midis to LMMS for more instrument variety

You've got it. There's a few like this already (look for the pink thumbnail, or my Top 50 VGM songs of 2023) and I'm aiming to do more, just a matter of when since I'm not full time here. I'm also open to suggestions if you have any.

I'd be interested to know which amiibo seem the least charming. I think we've had some good quality figures in recent examples (like Tears of the Kingdom Zelda and the continuing Splatoon line)

First off, thanks for the compliment. To answer: If any visuals happened to sync up to particular sound effects, it was probably a coincidence. My only goal in editing was to have some footage from any game I mentioned accompany that section of the video. If you meant the background music, I just chose a song from each game (besides the ending which comes from Amiibo Tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits.) In the case of the Azran127 intro montage, I wrote that jingle and then selected clips that would fit into the space of each 4-count.

I did what I could with the equipment I had, definitely got better looking streams/videos now, but glad this is enjoyable despite the age.

Two things I'd emphasize. First, don't underestimate the fundamentals of hand position (your finger should be curved a certain way, you can see my hands in the video as an example.) Scales and other such exercises are important for getting accustomed to moving your fingers across the keyboard in such a way as to avoid stopping and readjusting yourself. For more complex songs down the line, you have to be able to move your fingers in certain ways, like crossing them over each other. I'm at the point where all that is muscle memory, but it has to be built up. Second is less about technique and more about where to go once you have that down. I've found that it's good to learn the relationships between chords. That allows you to improvise parts that still sound like they fit the song (putting your own spin on it.)

This one was played by ear. Sometimes I'll find sheet music that someone else has made as a reference to learn certain notes before putting my own spin on the song, but most of the covers on this channel were done by ear. I've also had others ask where the sheet music is for my covers, but unfortunately, I have no knowledge of efficiently creating a sheet music file. For the cases where Iook up sheet music to help, I get good results from either MuseScore or ninsheetmusic.
