Hello, my channel is a Florida Fishing channel. I will share videos of my fishing trips and fishing adventures with my friends and family. I will also be sharing videos of how to install marine equipment, products and how well marine products work under the harsh marine environment. Spinning Reel lube and maintenance
Just cleaning and lubing my spinning reel. The reel was being rough and not spinning smooth so I added oil hope it helps.

Yamaha 115 tilt and trim cylinder cap replacement. Cylinder caps weee damaged and coursed the seals to leak.

.Found same problem with my steering housing. Power wires going in housing weren’t sealed enough to prevent water intrusion sealed it with silicone. Replaced motor and put a bead of silicone around steering housing to help seal it too.🤞

Hello, I have a 2023 F115LB, and a kicker motor, F6C. The kicker is fed by a 6 gallon portable Yamaha tank with the stock connector. In the case I run out of fuel for the main engine, is there a way to use the hose and connector for the kicker for the main engine?

It came with the bottle when I purchased it

This was a brilliant video but you didn't replace the Tilt cap! The Tilt cap looked mashed up too.
Yes it looked mashed but the inside was perfect and it was not leaking after I put in the o-ring , thanks for watching
@ 1:08 that is such a danergous thing to do - you can EASILY lose a finger. hydraulics let go when they hit air bubbles. nice.

Tip: Don't give the conductors a haircut. The ampacity is greatly reduced by cutting the conductor, the crimp connection will get hot and fail. Look for a yellow sleeve crimp to fit a #10 conductor.
WD40 is a solvent. Not a lubricant.
Yes I agree with you, trying to keep the salt away from all thing metal on the trailer, helps in the maintenance and slows the rusting when operating in salt water, hope you like the video, thanks for watching.

I used the wire fishing rods I bought at harbor freight, works great , big takes two ppl and some patience. Then I attached the wire and pulled it through.

Your transom was full of water. It’ll be rotten or delaminating in no time.
The strap bolt should have a little movement and not be that tight.

when changing the gear oil i always make sure i can open the top screw because if it stuck you can not fill the gear box back up once drained.
I have the pmx 1 model in a camper with sub and 2 speakers inside and 2 speakers outside.How do I switch from inside to outside? There’s a sticker says push round dial but doesn’t change anything on screen.And inside keeps playing. Haha I thought I asked you about this the first time I watched this vid😂
You might need to download the manual, I don’t think there is a way to shut individual channels off , but I could be wrong,

What about the center one i have my shaft out but can't get the cap off. The bottom looks like the bottom of the ones you took off then the top has the thing the round pin goes threw connecting it to the motor. I can't get either end off and can't find nothing about the center one

@@SWFLFISH my tilt and trim has 3 caps . One in the center with a rid that connects to the motor with a pin,like that holds on a Reece hitch, threw it on the top end you disconnect. No worries I have my cap off now the bottom unscrews I just used a pipe wrench
@@codyreece7871the two he changed were the trim cylinders. The one in the center is the tilt cylinder. Usually the dust caps get clogged up with salt and debris causing corrosion on the shaft which then causes the inner seals to leak. Im changing my tilt seals today but not seeing any videos on this.
@@ride-it-outtimandtoni232 I ended up getting my off. The bottom round thing on the shaft unscrews. I just took the oring off and used a pipe wrench to unscrew it
When i trim down a ton of foamy fluid comes out the top of the cylinder is that normal
No it’s not , your seal is broken and leaking

Great video. I'm curious what year your engine is. I’m learning my way around a 2008 Yamaha F200TXR. My hood is shaped just like yours. I can see the seals on my port cap are leaking a little. Thanks for the instruction.
Yes buy that tool you will thank me later , it’s a pain but the tool saves you time and money in the long run. Glad video helped you. My engine is a 2010 Yamaha 115
To folks looking this up- you can use normal automatic transmission fluid for this if needed.. check your fluids about once a week if you’re an avid boater 🤙🏼

Yes but you risk damage to the top and the top is pretty expensive, if you going to have the boat a while , buy the tool soooo worth it , you will thank me later, if not you will spend like 1h hitting it to get it off , I tried
I just got my end cap today and my tool comes in tomorrow, hopefully I do everything right , my only worry now is that it just doesn’t work electronically lol mechanic said it was all good electronically but just leaked hydraulic fluid so I’m going to replace the cap and also I hope I don’t make an error over filling or under filling the cylinders with hydraulic fluid
@@SDADDYWSL1TR3Y ...even the Marinetech tool doesn't always work...I've had to air chisel the cap to break it free more than once...that's why it's silly to not buy the cap with the seals...you should be considering the cap as a wear item...

Excellent video -- I greased the points on the engine and the wheel hubs on the trailer -- thanks for the step by step instructions.
Yea keep them greased like every 6 months or so , if you don’t go far they don’t heat up and get rid of the water inside, grease works good

Dumb question same motor once it hits the trim rods is it normal to be that slow going to trim down to transom feel like mine is super slow
Hey Corey , yea mine is slow too, it’s supposed to be slow , then the big one goes faster
Yea , - as you already know.. but the REASONING for this is when you are that low in trim, the corrections are smaller due to the speeds you may be at for low trim( on plane perhaps) so your trim inputs don’t “over correct” per se
I have the uhd94sv I was doing updates while the boat was in the driveway on the trailer last year and my transducer burned up. It was terrible so much interference it couldn’t be used, I had to buy a new one. Any time you power up that garmin out of the water push the power button andthen select disable all sonar. Happy fishing!

When you checked the contents of the separator, shouldn’t you have looked in the bottom, where the water would be? The first half that you pour out is going to be clean gasoline because gasoline is lighter. It will be on the top. Not until you get to the bottom of the canister will you find the water.
Yes , you are correct but I poured all the contents of the filter into the glass container just to check it. I baby my engine a lot. I use sea foam every other fuel up and just when I have extra cans laying around, I know my fuel is pretty clean, just wanted to show how to check it by pouring the contents of the fuel filter in a container so someone can see if they have fuel issues. @@SWFLFISH I appreciate the effort. But it seems that it would be better to show them the proper way. In the video you show pouring out half the canister into a small glass bowl. You need a large jar at least as big as the container. By watching your video an uninformed person might not look at the bottom of the separator that’s the only reason I brought it up. I can see you take good care of your engine.
Yea I should have shown where I poured the whole contents in a bigger glass jar , now you gave me a good idea for my next video. I will be recording one when I change it out this season, thanks for the feed back. Keep a look out for the new video. 👍
