And don't do a hidding roof because I see too much of you guys who built those roof having problem. You don't want to pay more in the long run, do things the right way from get go.

Kindly don't go for hidden roof, you will cry later. So many people are going through hell to repair and ceiling will be redone again. Kindly go for regular modern roof even though is expensive but you are good to go....most fundis claim to do the hidden roof but they always come with issues. Even in America here am seeing engineers on the roof tops doing repairs....actually hidden roofs are new models which are new in the market but they haven't trained the fundis specialist with it....the old fundis are trying to copy and do it but issues follow...plz dont try it...

Your sister need to talk to you about high roof. Hidden roof sacks and trouble leaking water just be smart go big or go home. high roof house always beautiful in stress free from USA 🇺🇸

Two stories home would be great. 1st step: Ground floor with 1 or 2 bedrooms +kitchen. You move in when ready and continue the uper level later. This will create less pressure on you and you are still young. If you have money, think to invest in assets rather in a big house.

If a single-storey house takes up a lot of the land, then consider a two-storey one which will use less land space and leave more land for a kitchen garden and other green spaces in the compound.
