Why is malenia even able to sleep? Just make her immune lol, it makes sense with the lore (unalloyed gold would stop it) that isn't even a long enough sleep to get your stamina back from sleeping her
Lorewise, unalloyed gold stops the effects of Outer God interference, which doesn't include sleep as it is the product of a mortal/demigod. Not that it matters because I absolutely agree that Malenia and all other big bosses shouldn't have a sleep bar at all. The amount of sleep status needed to proc sleep on Maliketh only for him to wobble for like a half second is stupid. At that point, just make them immune. Sleep is such a missed opportunity in ER, they could've made it so much better, or just mechanically different.
@davidreljac1707 I just figured that if it works on an outer god it should work on a "not quite outer" god. But then I guess her great rune wouldn't affect her. Wait a god damn minute, her great rune shouldn't affect her. Does the greater will not count as an outer god?
@@toastmaster914 It's certainly more complex than just "gold that stops something specific from happening" but we don't have an exact explanation in regards to what, how or why unalloyed gold does what it does. I'm suggesting sleep should work because: A. St.Trina's powers are very much mortal-born and not a foreign magic and B. Because if gold was effective against the interference of any and all magic, it probably would've been pointed out in item descriptions. As for her Great Rune, I can only assume it doesn't actually do anything for her lorewise, unlike in gameplay. Unless the Greater Will's power goes beyond the unalloyed gold despite its purpose or the gold is a fundamental product of the Greater Will, the Great Rune should not be helping nor weakening Malenia.
Cool build, but it's a lot more trouble than it's worth.

most bosses cant be slept or eternally slept, but assuming youre offhanding tholliers needle, the small stagger counts as sleep, and you can detonate ALOT of sleep damage. lowkey an insane build, surprised not many ppl have covered it.

Messmer's grab is the second grab i just couldn't get the timing for in the series. The other one is sister Friede's grab

Boy, messmer's grab is the best noob killer i have seen so far. It's meant to kill people who panick roll against everything rather than identifying the attack. A roll at the right time is enough to easily avoid it.
