Great show. Buck & the boys and all the guests in top form. The Bakersfield Sound blew Nashville’s ‘crossover’ crap out of the water. Just wish I had one of Buck’s $2.98 guitar books with its 45. Thanks so much for this post.
What a great band. Live and they’re just so tight. Buck and Don sound great together. Don Rich just nails the high harmonies👍 I’ve Got a Tiger by the Tail 20:50
Who are the musicians?
Ben Keith on steel. Lightin Chance on bass. Odell Martin on guitar?
This is from a process called "kinescoping," where a movie camera would film the live broadcast directly from a television screen to be shown in different time zones.
Faron is cookin !!
What a fabulous dream would get Jamey Ryan to sing this song personally for me! I love her voice and songs! She’s that good!❤
Listening 02-03-2025.💕🎶
Excellent!
2 more Willie songs - Hello Walls and Three Days
Thanks for loading. Buckaroos in their prime here. Absolutely love hearing Brumley make that pedal steel cry while Buck and Don sing perfect harmony on "Don't Let Her Know".
Thank you kindly for keepong clasic country alive. 02-03-2026. ❤🎶
I enjoyed that new concept on That Nashville Music. Quality musicians as evidenced by Jim Horn on Sax and Flute.
Dottie West will always be my favorite!!
This is back when Willie kissed Faron full on the mouth. These songs helped pay Willie’s bills well.
He’s doing a Willie hit before Willie was a Nashville name. awesome.
I'm almost 71 and i swear i can't think of a song Loretta ever sang i didn't like.
I'm with you on that Steve.
For the Al Gore rhythm
It's good to hear Don Rich and the Buckaroos play Happy Go Lucky Guitar live.
ALL 3 I HAVE ENJOYED LISTENING TO A LOT
I HAVE ALWAYS LISTENED TO GARY STEWART
Dear God how beatiful
How's your day goinh??
Awesome
Wow, a duet with Faron and Dottie singing "In The Garden"! I got chills watching this. It's fantastic! Thanks so much!

Unforgatable Jim we will never Forget you and god bless you for all the goods songs ❤❤
Really enjoyed watching this! Thank you.
Pete Drake!
Music and singer today can’t even come close to this even the bands
Hard to believe Bill Anderson and Norma Jean are the same age (87) and still alive.
What a clean and pure sound. Everyone is proud of sharing their talents, but they're not stuck on themselves. Loretta surely didn't know what all she had ahead of herself after this. Oh my!
What a pure and clean sound. Even with this old technology you can hear every instrument. The vocalists sing in tune without the use of today's digital pitch corrections. What talent.
Miss this big voice, thanks for the share. I don't think I have seen this film, great video and sound.
Face it, these dudes were cooler than us
I love Country Charlie Pride! I think calling him that gives him that stamp of authenticity that every country artist looks for. Juxtaposed to separating him from every other Black entertainer out there.
Steve doesn’t get enough credit for how good he was!
Very good j coetzer
High pockets .?
It doesn't get any better than this. It sounds so clean, and the personalities are real.
My grandmother and I love hearing George Hamilton IV singing Canadian Pacific.
I love a boiling Jenny is one of the best
Name song please?
Name song please?
👍✨💫❤️🌟
Absolutely genius is Ray Stevens. We get his serious, love ballad side and then a hysterical performance of "The Rock and Roll Show". 😀😀🤪
Wonderful memories ❤
Wow! Not only the Glasers' great harmonizing as always (plus Jim Glaser strumming a capo'd up 5-string banjo on "Wimoweh", originally cut in '61 by the Tokens as "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" so if this was filmed in Jan '63 that song was "fresh" for the Glasers to cover)....but to get to my point, that "Riot Chorus" instrumental is absolutely killer with Jack Pruett (who later did all the El Paso Spanish guitar licks while backing Marty Robbins, although Grady Martin cut the originals on the recording), Hal Rugg on steel (yeah, baby!), the great Tommy Jackson on fiddle and Lightnin' Chance on bass (w/ the rhythm pad mounted on the right side). Absolutely love this clip - thanks for posting!
Johnny Cash and George Jones are ICONS
