It seems that we are in an infinite open and/or flat (where angles are the same everywhere) universe... By the way this is a really good video on this subject as well "Raphael Bousso What would an Infinite Universe Mean Closer to Truth" Here's a thought - What is reality exactly - everything that is real of course is the answer and our senses make everything appear the way that is does, but it would be nice to really know what reality is exactly and its hard for me to even convey that idea. Like not even just the question of what is physics, not just what we can detect and understand, but what is it that makes physics physics? What is that? Also, not only do I believe that this universe is infinite, I also believe that there is a reality or multiple realities that are even greater (overwhelms in scope/meaning/etc) than this reality - or plane of existence - this universe that we are in. That's what religion attempts to speak about. To get into these realities I guess involves ascending into higher dimensions. Its mind blowing to think about that because we are so limited right now, needing the comforts of earth and all, but just think, who are we exactly, really - as far as we can see we are minds trapped inside of bodies right now. Some people believe that our minds are just the neural connections in our brain having self consciousness and the other abilities that it has of thinking, feeling etc... However what if the nervous system/brain included is just a way for our minds (us) to connect to this physical universe? So many questions that have such profound implications. At the same time I believe that the ability to look at all of this with clarity enables us to ask and practically explore if it argues for or against God being the "creator/cause" of reality being real. One argument against God would be on the quantum level particles just spontaneously come into and go out of existence. On the other hand an argument for God would be well how is it even possible for there to be a reality where particles spontaneously come into and go out of existence, even that still needs a cause and has to have something for that to be enabled to happen so to speak... How is infinity even possible? We're just minds (ourselves) looking out at everything... My thoughts lol...
