I set this channel up so my elderly parents could see what I do on our off grid property, for projects. It’s really just turned into a video journal for me to remember as well. The property is at 9,200 feet in the center of the Colorado mountains and covers 40 acres. It's 20 miles from the nearest paved road and over 40 miles to the nearest town. I use solar for power, collect rain for our water, and have an amazing composting toilet. I plan on adding additional structures there and someday plan to retire in a full size cabin I will build.
