LũpḁGangGang is a band that finds a balance in instrumental, vocal, improvised and written music. Everything seems just a bit off, but in a good way as if it was a soundtrack of trial and error. They can do all of this while still being fully in control of the energy that surrounds their music.
In August 2020 they released their newest EP called ‘STALINGRAD’. In this extended play the quartet search for a ‘middle ground’ by which they express their feelings. If you would give STALINGRAD to the crowd of ‘De Ideale Wereld’, a flemish TV-show where they made their debut, the crowd from back then would possibly not believe that it is the same band. Since then, they’ve had quite a journey in their process to maturation. From the debut album ‘BḀNG’ in 2019 to Gent Jazz in 2020, to a show in the Flagey in Brussels.
Fresh, innovative, mischievous and tons of attitude: that’s LũpḁGangGang.
