Hey Sloggy, Candyman here, if i just just watched a batch of 7 of your Vlogs, and you had only some 40 miles left to do at the end of thursday the 5th, it mean that this monday the 9th you are most probably at home with your family, having SUCCESSFULLY SUMMITED. So Congrats, i am so glad for you and Solar. Earlier this evening Solo, sent me the picture of her that i asked her on top of the most famous sign of all that trail. One day i will have mine. But in the meanwhile, congrats again. And i am quite happy to have met somebody like you.💪👍

This is a great recap, wow! Glad you were there and had hikers come along just in time! In my Wilderness First Responder classes, they always say to prepare to be out for 6 hours to overnight for a rescue and to always use your patients layers to help them first.

Sloggy, we met north of Damascus (I fixed you the bagel sandwich) I intend to start north from Bethel on Sept. 5 and finish Maine at Monson. I found this interesting as I will go through this area and something like this can happen to any of us. I carry from Walmart chemical hand warmers for this reason. Good Luck Orly
