The second year i was married i asked to cook the turkey for my inlaws cause wifes family makes their turkey in a bag so the bird was jerky after. I spent hours basting with a fresh herb butter and it came out so juicy and delicious just for all of them to think that it was undercooked and they gave it to thier dogs after. Needless to say i never cooked for them again

Dude learn to cook yourself, then bring some of those things on your own. Also if you slice the turkey straight from the oven then it gets dry, let it rest for 15 or 20 mins before slicing. Also canned cranberry sauce is jank
