Nobody is suggesting you warm up with a weighted club, what? They’re for speed/strength training. Not warming up?
@@JasonKrasavage Speed maybe if you’re using both sides and swinging correctly. No one has to suggest it for people to think that’s the easier way to warm up. I’ve seen It for years.

While I 100% agree , when does the "jumping action occur" which is a major factor in producing clubhead speed?
@@grovum technically it would happen at the end of that motion. What happens with most people is they dont stay down or use the ground. They spin (rotate) and jump.
Any swing thoughts that help to shut the face? Started with the in to out path but having difficulty closing the face. I end up swiping across is as a result of me "trying" to shut the face.

Watch the tree behind your head. You shouldn’t be swaying left of it like that. Try to keep the same tree behind your head through release.
@@JerzyBoy973 You’re not wrong, but you’ll have a much easier time mobilizing the hips and making the swing more athletic in a month, than mobilizing the thoracic spine just to keep the head still

This is what Jack and Tiger did more on the heels Less on the forefoot. It's also the gravity move in gravity golf from David Lee. You don't need to come up on the balls of the feet to crush it, instead you use your body weight tilting onto the left heel. This video is pure gold! SUBBED

What's the difference between a swing coach and a performance coach?
Performance would involve physical training as well as technical/swing training.

Would the drill apply to driver as well?
In theory, yes. Only difference there would be ball placement and the fact that the we're not as worried about the hands being in front of the ball at impact with driver.

@@gavinclancy1475 Good question- I’d choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to get to a full range of motion. Nothing wrong with starting lighter and working your way up in the same set!
Nice drills. Can you do a video where you tie this movement into syncronizing the downswing motion of the arms? Such as arms work down as your belt move back.
@@archiedarcy4845 That would probably be too much to think about in a swing tbh. If you can physically create this movement the arms should just be along for the ride because the lower body is leading

@@janclaussen2504 Only if you pull / flip the hands over. This is a feel drill that creates power. MANY other factors will still be at play but the drill itself is fantastic for what should be happening with the body in a perfect world.
Great drill. I've always worked out with weights but now I have a pilates reformer machine and boy is my core getting strong. Even one session a week makes a difference.

I never would have imagined feeling twisted like this in the follow through. Best drill I’ve ever seen hands down. Game changer this will get me to single figures I’m sure. Always focused on backswing , by the time you have put focus on that you’ve come over the top or transferred weight properly but not consistent enough to. Buzzing to get out . I imagine that works for young players. I'm 65 years old. I don't have any injuries 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞. But I recently decided to start moving my right foot back and putting most of my weight on my left leg. I started swinging my 3 iron. Back and forth from a full back swing a swinging hard through finish. Inside to out. I get both hips and stay stable through the hitting area. I've created a lot of power and it's easier than trying to trying to remember all this stuff. My body feels a little sore the next day. Because I'm engaging with most of my muscles and joints. So I'm a lot looser with my normal swing. Kinda of a single swing plane as most professional golfers do. I stretch before ever go into my swing. Which I never see on a driving range. Hope it helps you with looking at all age golfers.
@@lorenreyes2855 I’d never argue with what works. Love that you stretch prior to swinging, extremely important and everyone should! These drills would 100% work for everyone, and any age, they are feel drills and definitely shouldn’t be swing thoughts - meant to teach your body what to feel. Mobility and proper weight transfer from the ground up only becomes more important as you age. Regardless of the ability to conjure up power, moving correctly is what will keep you from injury!
