The rpg hit did nothing to the t72. The rpg round hit the composite armor in the turret which has enough thickness to stop a few early apfsds rounds already. It has a thickness of about 300mm of NERA or textiles I forgot which one it used. Either way the turret also has 300 mm of rolled homogenous steal armor without the composite armor. There is no way that rpg made it through without being a tandem.
