I met Ernie Petrangelo totally by accident at the 2001 BotCon. He was sitting on a chair by a wall. Thinking he was just a fellow TF fan, I sat down with him and chatted. Slowly I realized who he was. I was in total shock. We got deeper into Transformers and metal music. He told me N.R.G. was offered a contract after TF 86. "Instruments of Destruction" was outperforming Alice Cooper on metal charts. He said: "You're too late! The band is gone!" We gathered a crowd around us and it was a grand time! Ernie was eating up the attention and the interaction. I timidly held out my TF soundtrack on CD and asked if he would sign it. "Oh, I suppose you could twist my arm." I still have that CD, Ernie!

I remember going to see this as a kid opening night. After Optimus Prime died, half the theater emptied out and parents took their sobbing children out. I would have to say i was a little more prepared for this because I had the foresight to figure out, this was not the cartoon show, where none of the actual transformers ever actually died, I mean even Alpha Trion was drawn into Vector Sigma, and didn't actually just die in creating the Aerialbots. Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl and Brawn were slaughtered in the first 5 minutes...

I'm still speechless that Hasbro truly aproved this... They got the guts to make this whole Toy Franchise have some of the Most Brutal Deaths, Violence and Consecuences you'd oddly see in a Kids Product. The Transformers are Robots of course, but God Damn that they knew how to touch our most sensible nerve and we could saw them as having human beings... They weren't joining... They're *MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE*

If Disney did a 60th anniversary special for Mickey Mouse on WSBK-38 called The Dark Side of the Mouse, this would be the song that would play during the clips of the Gene Deitch MIckey Mouse cartoons from 1978-1973, which would involve him violently beating up Pluto.
