Thank you for this video. I really like that ragdolls are puppy like. That quality has great appeal to me.

All of our ragdolls, and we've owned several or two decades, have had the same long hairs, from between their toes, that we have only seen on our Mane Coon cats. Two brothers even had the little tuft of hair at the point of their ears like a coon cat. I wouldn't be surprised to find out there was a Main Coon or two in the raggy background

I have three, 1 male and his 2 sisters. Their mum is an outside kitty at the moment (semi feral) but I'm working on her she now lets me pet her.

I had two Ragdoll males before they exploded in popularity. Beautiful boys, seal point. I rescued a huge flame point about 20 years ago. He was an odd kitty, not cuddly- but he followed me everywhere. I had to groom him everyday.

We got a seal kitten from breeder in June this year. He's all they say about a ragdoll personality. He's a lot of fun. He is very clingy, needs to be where we are. We've owned various breeds over many years but have to say this is our new favorite breed.

I have a male Ragdoll, he follows me all around, loves to be petted and will tolerate being held, although not for long 💜

Ragdoll cats are the sweetest and most loving cats. We had our beautiful Milo for 19 years and lost him in 2016 and still miss him so much. He was a big boy with the softest little meow. Pain is still in my heart from losing him 💙

No matter what kind of cat you have, it is TERRIBLE to leave them couped up in a house, alone 😥 if you have ONE cat, give it a little pet door so it can go outside. If you can't/won't do that, THEY MUST have a companion. When you take EVERYTHING they are made for, away from them, HAVE a heart & give them a buddy. People have NO idea how cruel it is to leave a cat alone with literally NOTHING they live for.

I have an American Short Hair. He is only 1 year old. I had just gotten him 2 weeks ago. One thing I have learned, is that you must be very patient with him. No loud voices, treats, patience, and a lot of love.

You left out Russian Blues. Also feline intelligence is far superior to that of dogs. They are problem solvers. We share 95% of our DNA with cats, approx 80% with dogs.

We’ve had 2 Siamese, a Bombay, and a Burmese, and all of them are low shedders. Regardless, the Burmese and Bombay cats’ dander did aggravate my sinuses occasionally if I put my hands on my face after petting them.

I fed a stray ragdoll a can of tuna. The next day and each day after, it would lay down outside my door.

I have two kittens! about 8 weeks old!! I'm knee deep in kittens.

I would like to find a ragdoll, I had a female blue cream tortie and she was the best and I am spoiled now. I lost her 6 yrs now and I really need to find another one but I'm scared of all the scammers. My old breeder has retired and I can't find anyone.

I own a ragdoll a he's a year old and so loving he is always waiting for me to come home from work and loves seeing me when I give him treats.

I've had a ragdoll for 12 years. She hates people. Not a cuddly cat at all. Hates being picked up.

Note: never use your hands as toys, always have a toy to give them and never be aggressive or hit any animal. They don’t understand they are not humans. Find other ways to let out your aggression. Your voice is enough. When you play with your kittens always have a toy to give them. That will let them know that scratching and swatting is not playing. No anger is needed, just give them a toy. Never leave toys hanging on doorknobs, they can play and twist and twist then panic and actually choke themselves to death. Thank you so much for your excellent advice.
