I said before that this draft could be the ground floor of setting us up for the future. We can draft the young players that we hope will contribute immediately and be ready to replace some of our maturing talent. Both OL and DL needs attention for us to return to our previous identities on both sides of the ball. We have the cap space to plug the biggest holes with F/A players and be ready to win now. Our Super Bowl window could stay open for years to come.

Is the easiest schedule a benefit? I think it's actually a drawback. Maybe it's hard to have the hardest schedule, but having the easiest schedule isn't good either. You need to be battle-tested to succeed in this league. You need to play top competition.

If Kyle cannot trust or develop players maybe he’s outgrown his coaching position. The center is the most important lineman handling the ball almost as much as the quarterback. Brendel is a year older knees and back problem are issues for any older player. Center has to be THE Priority followed by both offensive tackles. Since the 49ers have many picks next need has to be to add speed to the linebacker’s and Defensive linemen. Last is a Moody replacement. Let’s be honest, no it’s not. With Kyle as HC we aren’t gonna win any rings. He doesn’t have that in him, not yet at least. People wanna blame injuries but packers had them, lions had them, Texans had them, chiefs had them, bills had them, it happens. In 2020 sure, we had everyone hurt within the first few weeks. But Kyle has proven his ego is far too big to change, and he’s gonna make the same mistakes over and over. We shouldn’t pay Brock what he’s asking for, he isn’t worth 60 million a year. He’s a good QB, not great. And keeping deebo is only gonna hurt us, he isn’t the player he used to be(it was for a season we gotta get over that) and he’s also becoming toxic. Kyle has had roughly the same team for 5 years now, yes we made 2 SBs. Did we win them? No? If Kyle was a coach for any other team, he would’ve been fired after the 21 season. 22 at best. Yes Robert would be cool to have, but we still didn’t win any rings with him and now our defense is much worse(in terms of players + effort) than it was with him. The 49ers need to break loose from traditional big money contracts for players signing an extension from their first four years and agree upon a set limit for all starting positions for extended contracts, such as 15 million a year extension contract for the starting quarterback, that also comes with bonus money for elite play, which can give the quarterback the 60 million a year that they believe they are worth. The bonus money would also be deducted for bone-headed play, like throwing picks and missing wide open wide receivers that are just standing there. How many times have we seen quarterbacks miss the easy throw? Too many times. Then there is the injury reserve issue when the high priced player just warms a bench. I believe all players with extended contracts should get what they earn, not what others are foolish enough to pay them.

The 49ers will continue to fall short of winning another Super Bowl if they continue to neglect putting together a top offensive line . The game is won in the trenches on both sides of the ball. It means drafting well and signing free agents rather than plugging in journey men or players at the end of their careers . It is important to be able to move the chains and be able to extend plays . Finding a franchise QB is rare , but being able to protect the QB gives an average QB an ability to become an elite / top 10 QB . The importance of fortifying the defensive line means more possessions , a better efficiency in the red zone . The 49ers if they stay focused on improving both sides of the ball can be relevant in 2025 season . They will definitely benefit from an easier schedule but also need to be galvanized in a extremely competitive NFC west where they were 0-6

I agree 100%...That O-line needs to get beefed up and obviously special teams (kicker) needs to be better. That being said, If we can get Jeanty in the 1st round somehow I think we need to take him. Who knows if CMC will play and having Mason, Guerrendo, Jeanty, and Patrick Taylor as our 4 if CMC is out would be a beastly set of RB's...we can still get great o-line personnel in rounds 2 and beyond. Then of course getting our D-line in order and finding a replacement for Greenlaw if the 49ers let him walk, which would be ridiculously stupid.

I try to give my pov in a longer post. Forgive me my mistakes as iam not a native English speaker... On the draft and tackle positions. I like the idea to get a center in FA as a rookie at that position is no good idea. The tackle positions did surprise me in a positive way this year. Thats why I would prefer drafting a left guard and let banks walk. He is a FA right now. I would take warren in the draft to get help with blocking. For that could go down 3 spots and get another pick which could be another defensive player. Yes that's an unpopular opinion but the options we might get as edge or tackle at position 11 do not convince me. Some of them were badly injured. About saleh, I would like some continuity at the dc position. I love Salah as he brings to the team more than a dc. He brings everything kyle is lacking. Fire, emotions , a leader aura and flexibility. Unfortunately I do think he won't stay for long if we get him. I also consider him Cowboys top candidate. About kyle.... Now it gets hard... In my opinion andy Reid had to leave the eagles to become the sb winning hc. Kyle has to develop to get it done. He lacks 2 crucial abilities in my pov. 1st flexibility and b all that I mentioned that saleh brings as a dc. I dont think he will ever win a sb without developing. He needs to let go, give the qb more freedom and be more empathic. Luckily a person can develop that with increasing age but right I would let him walk after the contract expires and lure saleh in with the podibilty to get the hc job maybe later in a few years. I wouldn't fire kyle but I would not extend his contract fighter.

It isnt the fact that he lost a couple of SB's, its the manner in which he lost them. Up double digits at the half in both SB's and then just chokes. Lets not forget it happened with the falcons when he was the offensive cordinator. So thats 3 times he has choked..

If Kyle is in any way comparable to Andy reid is if he also gets fired/leaves for another job like Andy Reid did in Philly after choking so many times making terrible coaching decisions in big games with the eagles!! If Andy stayed in Philly or stopped coaching altogether he would have never had Mahomes fall into his lap in KC! what ended up changing his life and head coaching career for the greater! Kyle is too stuck in his ways and poor philosophy that’s why he has gotten exposed multiple times already! He will continue to fail in SF with mediocre robotic QBs and patching together inferior OLines!! Kyle won’t win in SF maybe if he goes somewhere else like Reid and gets a HOF QB like Reid did in KC!! I’d like to see if Puni wouldn’t be better at that position than guard. It’s possible that he also may be the future at left tackle. In any case, we are short at least two starter quality offensive linemen. One from FA and one from the draft?
