I didn’t think of it at the time when this song came out, but this song honestly feels like the “saint jimmy” of 21st CB, I don’t like this song as much as saint jimmy, but this song is definitely underrated. I feel like they tried to do another “are we the waiting/saint jimmy” approach with this song and last night on earth, but flipped it around and put the slower song second. This song gives off network vibes as well, their other side band.

As someone who has seen Green Day live three times, they are better with every single song live. Every song rips harder and more fun! One of the best live bands of all time IMO
their albums have been a bit overproduced since 21CB in my opinion. Wish they sounded more “live.” Billie Joe is a great singer. He doesn’t need every single slight flaw to be pitch-corrected.
