This bumper adds a lot of ground clearance in the rear, looks absolutely amazing, and even has a hitch! Fairly easy job if you know how to use cutting tools, it just takes some time to do it right.

My windshield wiper switch is kinda funny. It works but when I turn it off - the power stays on! When I try to lock my door, the pin comes up. After a few days the battery is drain. I fiddle with the handle and turn on and off the wiper blades and my lock pin stays on. Whenever it rains in West Texas, and i use the wipers, the problem comes back. The fuses are not blown, yet the battery drains. Tired of jumping my van,
The cause of all that could be a few different things. Is your battery old? Do you charge the battery, using a charger, after jumping it? Could be a ground issue, or a wire temporarily shorting somewhere. Could be a control module. Hard to say without looking at it! Sorry I can't be more help.
Thanks for the video!
You make it look too easy, GREAT video to understand 👍
I don't know if you mentioned this or not. Maybe I just didn't hear but is it necessary to drain the transmission fluid before opening the front pan?
Not gasket required? before to put the pan back
@@FrankBustamante-mi2yx Thanks for Watching! Yes you can add a bead of RTV to the pan before reinstall!
I like that it was step by step .that make it possible to attempt it your self
Good video
@minutemaintenance7385 do you have to fill up the pan afterwards?? Please @ me
Do you have to fill up the pan when done?
Hey thanks for watching! You will want to run the vehicle to operating temperature, shift thru the gears and check the transmission fluid level and fill it up from there. I ended up doing a follow up video on this channel on how to "change transmission fluid/filter" on this vehicle and tackled both jobs at the same time. Thanks for watching and Happy Wrenching!
Probably one of the best instructional videos I’ve ever seen. Thanks man!
@minutemaintenance I started with my passenger side. Got everything out and replaced but can't seem to get it all the way in. Compared to the driver side it looks as though it is not in all the way but my passenger side looks like yours when you were prying. Did it move on you before you started prying?
Did the c clip come out with the old axle?
@minutemaintenance7385 not it was still on the splined shaft side.
Same style cover is avail for front diff as well. Dana Spicer p/n 10023538
will this tutorial work with the gen2 raptor blue shocks
The rebuild is close on the Gen 2 shocks, but there are differences. I will be making a video on doing them when mine are due for rebuild.
Great video man :)
Don’t you have friends you can talk to about your dog? Talking to yourself in 3rd person, really? I’ll find someone that talks about what’s broken and how to repair it I’ll leave you game seekers alone.
I'm trying to wire up some Traveler's offroad lights and I see in your video you only have a red and black wire? Is that's all that's needed sorry for being "loose termed"
No need to be sorry! Red for power, which goes to the relay, and black for ground.
What brand is the new axle?
amzn.to/3O4dZmM amzn.to/4fjnZEF Links will be added to the description too!
"without scratching stuff too much i hope...." Continues to scratch the shit out of it.
Thank you You showed how to a line the flapper door Thank you once again
Yeah so I'm chopping away at my o6 caravan I'm living in it with my pitbull frankenstein so I'm upgrading the sleeping area I got the saw saw just blazing away and wtf it's raining in here..a rear ass heater core I just knicked it and now I had to cut hoses bypass up front and got no heat going into winter here in sc luckily it's 95 xxxx degrees today .but what a pain in my ass .thanks dodge .asssssses .. good job bro
great video . I liked and subscribed
Great video, learned something new from it ! Thanks allot. 👍
Checking out our van now. We have a 2011 grand caravan with an issue that just started out of nowhere. Drive it and once I get to 40 mph the engine just revs up like it’s maxed out in a lower gear. I had 2 codes come up on my small reader. Codes are P0882 TCM P076A (pd)
That looks so easy why did I pay a mechanic to do mine.
So you bought gen 2 bracket and used it for this gen 1 so you can use gen 2 shock?
Yup!
Tky my friend, you save my life and cost of a New camara
What brand bracket did you use? Also do you need new bolts cuz the extra meat in there?
Brackets are from RPG off road. I didn't change the bolts and have had zero issues with quite a bit of off-road use.
@minutemaintenance7385 I looked up the brackets and the ones you used are different looking then the gen 1 rpg brackets that's why I was asking
@codyblake6836 they might just use a generic picture.
@minutemaintenance7385 the ones from rpg have a flat base and isn't cut out in-between is all! Probably will fit fine!!
Worked like a charm for my 2020 ford f150. Thanks, saved me a minimum of $160 for a diagnosis at dealership. And my bank account thanks you 😊
Take it up your trumptard politics

Don't know how to release a push-pin retainer. Break the bracket instead. Idiot
What is the name of the metal hoses underneath I am trying to look them up to fix my truck
Please chock the rear wheels
Oh, and don't even think about buying O'Reilly CVT fluid, Motorcraft is best but Valvoline CVT fluid will work, blue bottle
Use jack stands, and don't you have a drain plug in the trans pan? I thought all of the ct30s had them
Is that the shift solenoid your replacing
One of the shift solenoids. The TCC solenoid.
@@minutemaintenance7385 I'm getting the P0760 code
my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, dose not shifte gears when picking up speed and dose it when i slow down and then have to pick up speed on long drives. in town with all lights and stop signs, it works just fine. any suggestions?
@lindaramirez5296 Thank you for watching! If I'm understanding what it is you're describing, my first suggestion would be to get the Transmission Fluid and filter changed. Old, dirty, thin fluid or a dirty/clogged filter will prevent the transmission from developing the pressure needed to properly shift gears..especially at higher rpms..(faster/higher the van goes hotter it gets, thinner the fluid becomes). It is possible however the torque converter or solenoid pack could be at fault here as well but my 1st order of business would be the fluid and filter. Good luck and Happy Wrenching!
Excelente gracias
Going to change my plugs on my 2011 Ford Raptor. Thanks for the tip on removing the inner fender wells.
6 pt 8 mm works as well.
How was the eliminators on daily use ? Did you feel any heavy steering etc. Does the boots last a long time with them spinning ?
The steering felt a little tighter to me. If you keep the stock axles, they will tear pretty quickly. But the axles I'm using now have been holding up great.
“Other than another one that doesn’t have a hitch” (that starts with an M and ends with an a)” 😉 completely agree with you 👍
Absolutely!! I REALLY like their bumper, but wanted to have a hitch more. 🤣
@@minutemaintenance7385 same! I’ve seen some guys fab one in behind the license plate which is cool, but I tow my boat weekly and use my bumper to get in and out of the bed so I haven’t pulled the trigger on a rear bumper… also then you have to put your spare in the bed, well don’t HAVE to but it looks funny if you don’t. But ya dovetail looks great. 👍
After watching this I'm feeling pretty confident I can do this swap ..what size tools did he use
Looks so easy without a clutch fan in your way
The upper ball joint nut should be replaced. They are single use.
Appreciate the video, now I can fix my Saturn Ion 😊
Really appreciate this video very informative
Great video series!! good work man, love the channel. A few questions, how does it ride vs your rebuilt shocks you just did? Any other changes you need to make to make these work parking brake cable, abs cables work?
Thanks for the kind words! On road it drove a little better, but off road it did quite a bit better. No other changes needed!
Did you take any measurements on front end before and after to see how the truck sits? How does it ride on and off road vs your rebuilt shocks? Would you change anything if you did it again?
I'm so sorry for the late reply! I forgot to take after measurements, and now they'll be different because I installed deavers in the rear. There was an immediately noticeable difference on road, but all of my shocks were blown so I'm guessing that's why. I've been on three off road trips with the truck since installing these shocks and I can say they have performed better off road. And no, I would not change anything. The main reason I did this conversation was so I could upgrade to the Gen 2 Fox Racing Series shocks, which I hope to do sooner than later.
