My theory on how Leia briefly remembers Padmé, is that Leia caught a small glimpse of Padmé after she was born. In the scenes where Luke and Leia are shown up close as newborns with their new families, Luke's eyes are closed whilst Leia's are open, which probably means that Leia was able to see before Luke.

This is too sad. I'm a 30 year old man and I know these are kids things, but I teared with this video cause it's beautifully made even though it's so simple. When we're young we make mistakes and we lose the person we love. I've always resented Anakin for this, but because I've resented this in myself as well. I am Vader trapped in a suit which are my obligations, but I guess we are all Vader in some way and George knew that when he wrote this story.

I loved the connection between when Palpatine was trying to kill Luke and how Anakin saw what he did to Padme, and he had to stop him. So beautiful ❤️
